I've come to terms with if we signed Barton, I could never love him but I could certainly put up with him.

I think if we did get him in, he'd turn the corner, get his head down and become a fan favourite.

Did anyone hear that interview with TP last night with him saying he only goes after players with a point to prove etc? Barton defiantly fits the bill and if we show what a decent club we are there's no reason we can't bring him in.

He did say that he would deviate from those principals if the right player came a long, that and that this last two years they have been more after experienced Premiership players.
