I hope every single copy in the universe breaks. Not that I am bitter about having a 360 or anything. They have apparently. It's not happened to everyone but there's bug where the game freezes after an autosave 2-3 hours in. After resetting you start at the beginning ;D. No word on a patch yet.

Looks like they've fixed that now, it was a glitch on their end. "Some players may have been encountering an issue with The Last of Us which affected the autosave feature, which can result in a loss of progress in the single-player campaign. The team at Naughty Dog has been diligently investigating as soon as we heard from our community, and we have determined the cause to be on servers for The Last of Us which were capturing player statistics. We have made a change to ours to address this issue. All players should quit any game in progress out to the XMB and restart The Last of Us. All players can now enjoy single-player and online multiplayer matches as normal.
We will continue to monitor forums and social media, and investigate any other issues that may present themselves."Anybody had a play through yet?

My father in law said it froze on him and all the options disappeared on the start up screen but hasn't had a problem since.
I hadn't got far into it so I decided to restart to show it to my lady but she didn't cry the bloody stone heart. I'm assuming I'm just about to meet Ellie. Combat is fucking tense but naturally I keep going to use Uncharted controls. Such a beautifully made game.

Brilliant game 9/10, pretty close to perfect. It's like the zombie edition of the film The Road. Has great pacing and less willy waving than Uncharted. Recommend it to anyone who's into their gaming. Shows quality can still be made with a decent story, attention to detail and character development. Naughty Dog and Rockstar and running ahead of the pack in terms of quality at the moment. In fact this game reminds me a lot of Red Dead Redemption

Good ;D Although it looks like it has been fixed. Saw a mate playing it yesterday. It looks fantastic.

I filled up at 'that' moment, the little girl's gasps still send a shiver down my spine Some of the set pieces with the clickers are phenomenal, they're as horribly tense as the best of Resident Evil, especially using surround sound - that clicking and yelling when they're behind you during a chase is probably as scary as a game could get. The core of the game is better than Uncharted's; I'm hoping for more of Uncharted's epic surroundings later in the game (I'm about 3 hours into it).

One thing that's been slightly overlooked is the job they've done visually, people say it looks nice but the power they have squeezed out of the ps3 is immense. It's living up to the hype so far, just met Ellie after my first go yesterday. Gonna rape it before work tomorrow then probably finish it on Wednesday, my day off.
I'm 26 for God's sake ;D

Got to my first encounter with the clickers last night. With surround sound, on my lonesome. Fucking horrible.
Such an unbelievably well executed game.

I'm probably only an hour or so in front of you and it's already got that real sense of journey that Uncharted managed. It's living up to the hype. Loving it.

It's awesome mate, glad to hear it got that. I'm playing on Hard and I felt quite guilty for having them nosh into Joel's neck, planning a course of action without getting caught is well tense.

The only gripe I've found so far is the loading time when you first load the game. Fuck me it has to last a good 5 minutes. But then again, there's absolutely no loading times throughout the game after that.
I've just got up to SPOILER meeting Bill. Only had about half an hour on it last night but the interaction feels so strong between characters as the script and voice acting are so natural. Fucking awesome game.

I finished it on Thursday night in about 13 hours worth of gameplay. Fabulous game from start to finish. Probably a SPOILER: Click to view/hide I was expecting a big teary finish, like in The Walking Dead game. Pleasantly surprised that they ended it when they did. Hoping that we get a sequel where they get to that little village to see a note from his brother saying "If you see this, we've gone to Brazil, apparently it's a haven"... and in the next game you travel across South America. Avoiding mustachioed Mexican zombies and shit on the way.
