I loved Heavy Rain but I'm a little bit disappointed they've gone with the same QTE centric gameplay that looks pretty much copied and pasted from Heavy Rain. It was a great way to feel involved in the game but I just hoped they'd tried something different.

I was actually hoping that they'd bring out another Heavy Rain. I was a little bit disappointed when they said that they'd never make a sequel so the best that we could hope for was just a completely new story with the same gameplay. I'm all for it. Looks good.

It's nearly been 3 years to the day that I failed to undo the prostitutes seatbelt. They say it gets easier with time but I'm still waiting for it to. I'll just be an emotional wreck on the 22nd.

In Heavy Rain did any of you ever drink that creepy pharmacist's drink and end up in his basement?
On the first play-through I absolutely shit myself in that house, I actually think I just ran out of the house when he went to make the drink and didn't even bother to search for clues. When I'd finished the game I went back to that bit to see what happens when you try the drink. You wake up strapped to a table in the basement, it turns out he's a bit of a torture freak - absolutely immense.

I drank it. I trusted the old cunt enough to think that is anything did happen, she'd get out in time before any rohypn drugs kicked in. I was wrong  but managed to get out. I didn't manage to evade the burning building though. Rest in peace Maddison. On reflection, what a fucking game. It's getting another play through. |

But no, Madison, Ethan and the prostitute (I think) died. I think I sent the CIA guy fucking nuts as well.

So many good scenes in that game thinking back. The one that was like Saw, when the killer gets you to cut a finger off in front of the camera and shit. Or sneaking that guy out of the police station using the FBI guy, that was intense.
Such a good game! Can't wait for this new one.

never finished FF9, was still into the modern setting of the previous 2 at the time. Might give it another crack when they release PSone Classics on Vita.
