Arsene, probably the best chief scout in Manchester

The expected poor draw for our game on Sky then. Cameron impress, Whelan was decent. We desperately need a natural goalscorer to finish off chances. Really hope TP goes all out for Defoe.

I think Kightly will be a great acquisition too, thought he did well today...
Another one very impressed with The Yank..

We should play Kenwyne as the target man and Crouch as the out and out Striker. It just doesn't work with Crouch and Walters, Crouch is a good technical player who happens to be fucking massive, Kenwyne is a much better fit for the 'Mama' role IMO
Decent point though, news boys looked good and the back four was solid as ever.

Boring, take the point. Positives were Kightly and the fact our defence is still sturdy as ever ;D
Bore draw on sky for Stoke, unbelievable Jeff!!!

Very poor football match which clearly shows the limitations of both sides.
Stoke are painfully negative. Zero corners at home for a team that gets most of its goals from set pieces is shocking.Begovic's time wasting is embarrassing. I think you are worse than the Stoke side people slated for its style 2-3 years ago. That team put pressure on opponents and created goal scoring opportunities.
Arsenal are toothless. 3 or 4 shots on target from 17 attempts, 13 corners and the vast majority of posession is diabolical. Forget United,City and Chelsea. Fulham or Newcastle would have won that game. No real urgency either
Long season ahead for both clubs. Maybe they should do a football version of the ''Wife Swap'' reality tv programme. Wenger to Stoke for a month and Pulis to ours.
Based on what I saw on the telly, even the atmosphere seemed subdued compared to previous matches.

Kightly looks excellent and that ball through to Walters was absolute class, we just need someone to finish off chances like that. Cameron looks class. If he can play like that after all his travelling this week, he should be top quality after settling in. Ryan was brilliant today, defended really, really well. We're only a clinical striker away from being a really excellent side!

Anyone else think Kightly was trying too hard at times today? Especially in the first half, kept trying to take the entire Arsenal team on.

Did Cameron really impress? Honestly thought he looked lost at times. Looked really lightweight to me and gave the ball away a few too many times. He needs more time in the prem. Pennant needs to stop fucking diving, Keightly needs the others to be on his wavelength.
I hope to whoever the fuck is up there that were not in for binary v.2.0.
Two teams not wanting to lose.
Same old same old really.

Cameron did some good stuff, but struggled with the pace of the game. Not unexpected, and I think he'll be a real asset for us.
Pennant was quiet, but has he even played a game pre-season? Should have had a penalty.
Kightly is in the Liam Lawrence mould, just what we need. Did well today.
Defence sound, although Wilko got more than a bit lucky.
Whelan MOTM. Bossed the midfield.
Palacios showed some nice touches when he came on, which was nice.
Jon Walters and Peter Crouch have less chemistry than a North Korean science lab. We need a new striker.
Ref was shit, as per.
Arsenal fans are 'cahnts'.

Thought Cameron did everything Whitehead normally does but looks better on the ball.

His defensive work was excellent, he was occasionally slow in adapting to the pace of the game when on the ball but that's to be expected. If he can adapt himself to the faster pace then he'll be an excellent player. Which is why I thought he was impressive, a lot of people are taking it to mean he had the perfect game.

It's worrying just how biased Lee Mason is in this game... certainly was, definitely on Arsene's pay roll

Cameron does look to be a great find, a fit Tom Huddlestone along side him and an upgrade on Walters and we'd look very decent

BORINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
No fucker looked like scoring! Cameron did well, some people going OTT. Whelan offered very little again, sideways, sideways, backwards, sideways. Walters offers fuck all and has no connection with Crouch.
PC didn't look interested. Palacios is still no fit. Kightly did alright, put a shift in. Really needed support from Walters/Crouch and Wilson.
Neither fullbacks looked brilliant. Begovic needs to fucking hurry up. Pennant was very poor.
