Ps3 problem

Fucks sake The missus is out at work, thought YES, here we go, a night on the ps3. Bloody thing was fine yesterday but when i turned it on earlier the fucking screen has gone all fuzzy, going off and on. Thought it was the hdmi cable but it works sound through the virgin box. It must be the internal hdmi output but what the fuck has happened! It was fine yesterday. Bastard thing. I wiggle the lead around, hang it up in the air, all the usual shit. Nothing, just one big ball of fuzz, it won't even stay on long enough for me to change the system to scart.

Anyone experienced this?

Plug it in through the AV cable instead rootsy if you've still got it

If you haven't got one buy one and try it and try your ps3 through another tv, someone else's if needs be.

Got to the bottom of it! Seems the hdmi out port is fucked, sometimes caused by a power surge when the unit is plugged in. i've managed to reset the system and now can play through the av cable, the fucking picture is wank compared to HD but hey ho. I've ordered one of those component cables which you can use that gives a 1080i instead of a 1080d definition. I also know a bloke who fixes such problems for 25 quid.
