Plug it in through the AV cable instead rootsy if you've still got it This cunt If you haven't got one buy one and try it and try your ps3 through another tv, someone else's if needs be. Then relate your findings please

Got to the bottom of it! Seems the hdmi out port is fucked, sometimes caused by a power surge when the unit is plugged in. i've managed to reset the system and now can play through the av cable, the fucking picture is wank compared to HD but hey ho. I've ordered one of those component cables which you can use that gives a 1080i instead of a 1080d definition. I also know a bloke who fixes such problems for 25 quid.
