I've seen Crouch is shit etc ;D
Kenwyne suits us better, but Crouch as a footballer pisses over him lets be honest.

Fucking hell. People moaning that we have an England international who's scored 3 goals in 4 games against Swansea starting up front. IDIRD. But why drop a man in form for somebody who was a pile of shite in his last few appearances? Why piss about with a team that destroyed Liverpool? It should Walters and jones up front. Adam and crouch are too slow.

Why drop a man who is more than likely signing for today's opposition?
If Crouch gets back on form we have a good striker, but I'm not happy with Walters on the wing & not behind Crouch & with that Crouch will barely touch the ball (like Tuesday) because we can't use the wings effectively.

I agree with most of what Pick says to be honest
One of the main reasons why our form has been as good as it has is down to more pace and power upfront in Jones and Walters plays far better with Jones than Walters too. With Adam and Crouch, we know we're going back to turgid, one pace football which is just fucking God awful to watch at times
Crouch isn't a bad footballer, to reach double figures in a team where Etherington was miles off form and we were pissing around with Shotton on the other wing is a huge achievement. However, he's done nothing to merit coming back into the side and doesn't fit the system
System is king, that's why sometimes lesser players such as Jones suit it better than Crouch

Adam and crouch are too slow. Quite possibly because Jones has said that his head is not in the right place today and Pulis made the decision to bring Crouch in. You can't play Walters behind Crouch because that really doesn't work well, as seen by our lack of attacking ability last season. While I'd much prefer Jones + Walters in the middle if Jones isn't mentally fit to play.

I must say I prefer Kenwyne to Crouch! ;D...just think it's probably right if he is going to leave us for them. But Adam behind the front man again & Walters unfairly on the wing...that has really got me as happy as shoving a pinecone down my japseye

He's a strange bastard is our Tone

It has to be to do with the transfer talk.
Simply no other reason.

I live in hope of us playing this as a 4-5-1, which switches up to 4-3-3 when we attack.

The only other option (that I'd prefer) would be to play N'zonzi behind Crouch to hassle their deep midfielders and then Adam would be able to play deep.

My main gripe is we have no pace or mobility up front.

Don't look 'too' bad going forward.
Why is Etherington constantly mouthing 'oh fuck off' and shaking his head?

Every time Ethers finishes a run he looks knackered. Adam's played quite well I think, he definitely looks to be playing deeper than he has before now.

0-0 a good score for us at half time. I'll take the same score after 90 mins.
