We have to try something different away from home, it's ridiculous that we still stick to the same old tactics that we did when we first came up.

It wasn't our day? Maybe if we'd started with our in form forward in Jones and actually had the mentality to attack away from home, it might've been "our day"

Pre-Liverpool Top 10 is more than likely, now fuck me the doom & gloom that we'll stay up some are even one way or another, yet im inbetween. Pulis great manager however away from home we'd struggle to beat Blue Square North sides with the tactics. N'Zonzi on his own can defend on his own yet he still wants defend from midfield, we cant make chances defending for 90 minutes or until we're 2-0 down & expect get anything from it.
Sounds mental & I'll get moaned at for this question but have Swansea surpassed us in 2 years than we have done since promotion? (just a question don't start moaning at me)

(just a question don't start moaning at me) Last year they bored the life out of me and it didn't help having that podgy, smug faced tosser in Rodgers in charge However, they've bought incredibly well and Michu is arguably the signing of the season. Laudrup's done exceptionally well, got them playing some decent football, even mixing it up at times rather than "pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, go nowhere, give ball away" I think if they have another good season next year and win the Carling Cup this year, there's a strong case to argue in favour of yes, they've surpassed us

On a footballing level, they've already achieved that. When its working and the team play as a unit I wouldn't change it for all the Manchester United fans in Essex. But today, they didn't look like bushing a nut or moving out of 2nd, we just looked like a bunch of bumbling fucking idiots apart from a few touches int he 1st half

It all depends on what you mean by 'surpassed' us.
FA Cup final, Europe, 5 seasons in the prem...
Swansea were much the better team today, but let's not forget we absolutely dicked them red-raw at ours this season.

Apologies for the incoherent dummy throwing, I'd sunk a few.
I don't want to be burying my head in the sand by just saying we've just hit a bad run of form, but don't want to 'meltdown' and work off some theory creating agenda.
How it looks to me though, is that everyone looks pissed off. Usually when I'm pissed off at work it's down to bad managerial decisions. As with any shit turn of event's, it'll no doubt get worse before it gets better. But we'll turn it round eventually and have a nice fat wedge of this tv money.
Maybe it'll be the right time to ask whether Swansea have surpassed us in a year or so. But when you see how they go about survival, next to us, they've spent fuck all doing so. That's a bit of a kick in the bollocks.

For the people moaning about no fullbacks... What's he supposed to do? Play Wilson with a broken leg? Both Wilko and Shotton were injured, so that's 3 fullbacks that're unable to play. Not many clubs of our level can afford to keep 5 players happy playing at fullback.
We were piss poor and Adam needs dropping, his head clearly isn't in the right place still. Crouch won nearly every ball that went up to him though so I don't know what anyone is complaining about there. Our defending was at fault for each of the goals, the first was particularly shocking. Then with the second you can see why Pulis wants Adam to play higher up the pitch and not be in the centre of midfielder. Third was poor but it was also an absolutely cracking pass.

My question was just general of if they have surpassed us & just wanted everyone's opinion on it.

I don't think that they've surpasses us no. They're probably around the same level as us though, and they've taken a very similar route. They came up as a team that was based on work ethic and an exact style, and (whether through finances or not) they didn't spend big. What really helped them was having a team built around their exact style, thanks to their past few managers, starting with Martinez. They've gotten incredibly lucky with Michu, much as we have with N'zonzi but the difference is that N'zonzi improves a side of the team that was already good. Where as Michu scores goals, and that's something that we really needed this year. If they can push on further would depend on pure luck finding more bargains, since they're still not willing to spend big. Which is what I think you have to do to break into that 7-5th position area. I think we, realistically, are either a top quality striker, or two decent wingers away from that point. Where as they need a general improvement all over the squad. Especially in terms of depth.
