So a fixture that 6 years ago we fought tooth and nail to make happen, is this time around one we don't really need or want in the position we are in! It feels like we are approaching it with the least confidence the team has had at any point since we got promoted. Especially given our woeful record against them since we came up.
So will the inevitable happen or could we pull off what would now be one of the shocks of the season?! How should we approach the game, think fuck it and go all guns blazing at them or our usual extremely cautious approach where we try and nick a goal and protect our goal difference (which could actually be vital for us now?!) What line up would you like to see?

Bar the second (can't remember what happened in the 3rd?) season up, we've played pretty well against them, especially last season where we were good for the 3 points. Unfortunately this group of fannies look like they haven't played together before. Manchester United are also playing wank.
Anything could happen.
Thing I'm looking forward to most is having a Sunday dinner before the match. NEA.

Just hope the crowd and players are up for it. Play well, get some confidence, and if we lose make sure it's only by 1 or 2.

4 nil bumming.
If we do hammered 3 or 4 then surely its the end for pulis? If we lose but have a good go and fight then fair do's. but the fight has to be there.

It wouldn't be the end of Pulis, even if we were in stonking form I would expect a defeat against Man United. If it was Norwich then I'd say he'd get the boot up his rectum, but it isn't.
If we show a bit of fight & determination to actually play for the badge then I don't think anyone even with half a brain (some Stoke fans don't even have that) can complain.

I mean if we just turn up and go through the motions and get hammered. If that's the case id sack him that night.

I don't think it will be the end of Pulis if we lose in double figures as most people seem to think as this is man u a loss is inevitable...
Myself, I'll be happy with a 0-0 draw but I am expecting the worst.

I expect a loss against these anytime but I also expect to see some fight in the team. This team at the minute doesn't look like its got the stomach for a relegation battle. If we could swap our squad with the one we had when first up I would and I'd fancy us to avoid the drop.

Subs Not Used: Simonsen, Lawrence, Tonge, Sonko. Probable/Possible Line up this season Begovic Cameron, Huth, Shawcross, Wilson, Whelan, Nzonzi, Kightly, Adam, Walters, Jones Subs: Etherington, Crouch, Whitehead, Jerome, Owen

I do have a strange feeling about this game though. Despite Utd being a wounded animal after the derby and everything going utterly shite for us since beating Liverpool so well (anyone remember that anymore?) I sense the points being shared. All pinkies well and truely crossed.

Pulis is staying until the end of the season at least.
Whether anybody wants him out or my is now irrelevant until then.
We need to be roaring the team on to safety. Some of the team may not really give a shit about Stoke, but I still guarantee they will perk up if the 'bearpit' returns(stupid phrase). The positivity from the stands will transcend to the players.
Remember, we were still boring first half of the season, but we were completely solid, we perform like that for the run in and we're safe.
4-0 loss.

I'm actually confident we can get something here.
The problem is, that 'something' is nothing more than a shot at goal for the first time in eight games.

It's a write off, just hope it doesn't hurt our goal difference too much.

Put everyone on the fucking line and go all out for a disgracefully negative, coma-inducing 0-0
We need points right now and I don't care how we get them

Hoping we do that in the away games! A point in 2 of them would be a decent result
