www.tribalfootball.com/articles/ramage-targets-stoke-and-wolves-blueprint-qpr-survival-1700011Peter Ramage believes QPR must look to the example of Stoke and Wolves as how to survive in the Premiership. Former Newcastle defender Ramage believes Stoke's recipe for success is the model to be followed. "A lot of the teams that have gone up in recent years have managed to stay in the top flight, with the likes of Wolves and Stoke establishing themselves in the Premier League, so they have shown that clubs can stay up and become regulars in the best league in the world," he told skysports.com. "The manager has previously focused on Stoke as our benchmark for next season because they've done ever so well since gaining promotion a few years ago. "We've just got to play with a bit of freedom and enjoy it because it is going to be tough and no one is kidding themselves on that front, but we do feel that we have enough in the squad, especially if the gaffer adds to it this summer, to remain in the top flight beyond next season."

I think Wolves will be down next season, if indeed the 3 coming up aren't strong enough (I don't believe any of them are).
I don't think you could seriously put us and Wolves in the same sentence in this regard. Wolves have scraped by and were bloody lucky last season, where we've now had 3 comfortable seasons even with a few sticky patches here and there.
But taking a step back: "...must look to the example of Stoke as how to survive in the Premiership." ;D.

It's nice to get a bit of recognition now and then, even if it is from Ramage and Colin

I wonder how many years we will hear this?...
Every year it's the same comparison with those coming up.

I wonder how many years we will hear this?... Every year it's the same comparison with those coming up. Which is a good thing...
