I want to change my PSN ID, I'm aware that I'll need to make a new account to do it (is this too much hassle?) but will all of my saved data go as well? I'm thinking of FIFA really, all the points you build up - will they go?
Thought people may as well drop their gamertags in here as well.

You can copy saves over to a different account on the same PS3, you don't get trophies on some games though.

You get taxed on them by EA (5% each time you transfer them) so if you're talking hundreds of thousands of coins you could be looking at a fair whack when you transfer them across accounts. You don't need to involve a mate at all though. Just set up a new profile on your PS3 with your desired new PSN ID and then become friends with your old account and list a load of bronze players for 10,000 or something stupid. Then sign into your old account and make trade offers for the bronze cards and send your players and coins over that way. If you sign into one account on the console and one on the web app it can be done really easily. |
