Its wank I found 3-5-2 with pacey CB's was just the easiest way to stop that. I disgustingly abuse pace though, but that's because EA insist on setting their games up as it being the most effective strategy. |

Started playing with 3-4-2-1 as may as well just try and out score the others. Making loads of chances with this formation.

Also just changed my camera view from broadcast to tele and that made a massive difference. I can see more of the field and see my players making runs

Seems to be the most effective formation so far. Been using 352 myself today and its a good one. Wingers track back and the two cdm act as defenders when defending. As in going forward it's not as good as the 4321 I was using before. |

For me its tended to work as 5 in defence, 4 in attack which suits me, usually the DM's will sit just outside the box - last year I had Lucas and Wellington Nem in the CDM positions. Both of them were good with long shots, this year its Vidal and Guarin - again good long range shots so poor clearances are always another chance.

Played a tournament at work and the guy I got paired against switched his defending style to legacy - I finally realised how people swarm you with 4/5 players as soon as you get the ball. All he was doing was holding in his A button and the left trigger and players were like homing missiles. Annoying because its such a mindless defensive style. Worst thing of all though was that as I was at work, I had to be a gracious loser and couldn't say anything.

- Still takes half an hour to load.
- Even more scripted than usual.
- Players are still completely retarded, often not moving towards a pass and letting it roll right past them.
- EA have added the 'turning circle of the Moon' feature to players.
- Sometimes the game freezes, its 2013, how can games still freeze ffs?
- First touch is even worse than the last game.
- Youth academy system is still shit, why can't I send more than one scout to a country? Most pointless thing ever.
- Graphics are worse than FIFA 13.
