Why do our players put no power into shots but absolutely fucking smash every cross? ;D

Two cleared off the line. Two stonewall penalties not given. Fulham possibly should've been down to ten men with Kasami lashing out in the first half. This ref has been a fucking joke and we don't deserve to lose at all. Fuck football. And why did Richardson not get a second yellow for going in on Walters' ankle just then?

And that's why you need a fucking striker Yes ... and we knew that when the transfer window was open. Whoever made the final decision not to sign a striker when we all knew how useless the ones we had were needs sacking. If it was Peter Coates then he was very happy to be patted on the back every day since promotion and he can take the stick now for short sightedness. Yes it is his money and not mine we'd be spending .... but he's the one who will make millions when he sells the club on. I just knew how it would go today Now I just have to pop over to the Oatie to witness some wrist slashing and chair kicking ;D

We lost as a result of a couple of careless passes. One that turned a good spell of attacking pressure into a Fulham counter attack and then a shit pass in our own half that cost us the goal. Totally pissed off that we lost when we were by far the better team today.

We need to stop the amount of piss poor passes and ridiculously over-hit crosses to have a chance of winning games. The ref was crap but it's our own fault we lost.

We were the better team, you're bob on there, which is why I hope the players and Hughes are as fucked off as I am right now. I fucking hate losing like that. Even when we win like that, I'm aware enough to feel a bit sheepish about the nature of the win. I'll take it of course but I know we didn't deserve it. I genuinely find it easier to take getting played off the park and being shat on 4 or 5. So fucking frustrated. Where's the cat. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

By far the better team and we lose. Right fucked off with it.
Looks like some jammy bastard predicted all 6 of the super 6 score lines as well.

If we play like this, 9 weeks out of 10 we'll win.
We have to start taking our chances and we obviously still need at least one more forward, but I'm not worried in the slightest. We're only 7 games into the season with a new manager, we knew it would take time for everything to gel and there are for me, still way more positives than negatives.

We won't Funky, cos we don't have anyone to stick the fucker in the net.
I get what you're saying though, it's an improvement on last year and we now look like a side which at least belongs in the division, before we always looked like imposters playing a game with slightly different rules ;D

I thought Steven Ireland was our best player today and Assaidi looked decent when he came on.

Ireland looked good but seemed to run out if gas. Arnie looked up for it too but can't do everything himself. Thought N'Zonzi had a poor game.

Whatever he makes from Stoke will be like a drop in the ocean compared to the cash reserves (not factoring in any previous dividends, which are quite healthy each year as well) at Bet365 of £450m. There is no way Stoke will ever generate the kind of income Bet365 has, and it doesn't need to. He might as well get down the ground looking for any dropped change after each game if he's that intent on profiting from everything.

The money he will make from SCFC will not be small change and PC is first and foremost a businessman. He's made money out of Stoke in the past and he wil do so in the future. Anyone who has been a Stoke fan for more than five minutes knows exactly where Mr Coates priorities lie, and his tightening of the purse strings just when the revenues went up spoke volumes. If we'd paid the extra couple of million which was required to bring in a striker worthy of the name we'd be a fair few points better off now. Come then end of the season that couple of million will look small change compared to the cost of finishing far lower down the league or even worse.

Come then end of the season that couple of million will look small change compared to the cost of finishing far lower down the league or even worse. But his/the family's company absorbed losses from the club of £32m in the last financial statement. How is that making any profit from the club? Add to that the huge amount he's pumped into the club over the last 7 years, plus the cost of building the training ground complex and the academy this surely proves to any doubter that his tenure this time is completely different to what happened in the 80's/90's. Yes he is a business man first but any sane businessman who is looking to make big profits would never see the route to that through owning a football club, even clubs like Madrid and United are still making huge losses. He is in a completely different position himself to what he was in last time round and so is football itself. As for this 'tightening' of the purse strings, I'm glad we didn't splash stupid cash on strikers who weren't worth anywhere near the value we were being asked to pay as we have in the past. The club had to be run more financially astute than it had been during the period when we needed to establish ourselves in the Prem and I wouldn't want anyone else running our club, personally I feel we are lucky to have a local man in charge, despite what has happened in the (now quite distant) past.
