Spinach, lettuce, spring onions, on my lunch, all fresh out of the garden, she can keep the courgettes for herself. It's so hot we've got Limes growing for the first time on our Tahiti lime tree

Well into tortilla chips with tex mex style dips at the minute.
Think I'm gonna get on the Bombay mix tonight though, up there with the best of 'em as beer food goes.

Just on my third consecutive bag of pickled onion monster month, must be 15 years since I've had these fuckers (didnt have a slab of cheese to hand so made do with crisps).

I'm really into cheese singles at the moment.
Bacon, Fried Egg & one of them on a sarnie is my sandwich of the moment.

Finally got my shit together. Pork Chops with apple sauce, broccoli, turnip, Swiss chard and boiled spuds. All produce from my allotment (except the pig based ingredient). Allotment rules state no fowl or poultry but it says nothing about no pigs. Maybe I should buy a few!
Oink!

Vegetarian for 8 (eight) months. I'd genuinely love to be a veggie. It makes so much sense health-wise and in terms of not ruining the planet. Problem is I've not found a vegetable which I don't find absolutely fucking disgusting. I mean literally. Some of them I can force down because I know I have to, others actually make me gag - aubergine, carrots (smell and taste of sick to me), cabbage, sprouts, celery, cauliflower, yuk. Feeling a bit queasy just typing that.

If I could just find someone to cook me up some tasty veggie treats, I'd be up for trying it. Preferably someone who's sported an enormous bubble perm and equally outsize glasses in the past, but not overly fussy

Bagged a few bags of Venison from Tatton Park today, lovely joint for tea. Skyped my eldest at Edinburgh Uni when having tea and showed him a lump of bambi

I can't wait until it gets a bit colder so I can do a big, slow cooked pot of lobby.
