Top tip for a delicious cost effective roast.
Aldi pok loin, about 30cm long for £3.50 ish.
Sprinkle with sage then wrap with smoked streaky bacon.
40 mins at 190'c for a true delight.
I served it with spuds, savoy, carrots & broccoli (each costing the thick end of fuck all from, you guessed it, aldi!)

They are building a new Aldi in Northwich, and also one next door to where the Mrs works in Holmes Chapel, should be able to partake in them in a few months.

Never set foot in an Aldi, is one near to me but always associated them with common folk who call their kids Keanu, Rio or Chardonnay. Must admit though their brochures look quite smart and my grocery shopping snobbery incorrect I feel. Apologies to shoppers everywhere, I feel such a ninny

Didn't Aldi used to be famous for like 5p tins of beans etc. They made Happy Shopper look like Harrods. I though you had to have an ASBO store card to shop there in the old days

Could be one of those people that only eat weird food, Vulcans I think they're called. Some posh people are into that. I think Jimmy Tarbuck is one or maybe just an unfunny twat

Ive never been out for xmas day either and dont think i will. TBH it was a bit slow service tonight, fairly quiet as well. I had the chefs curry of the day, chicken madras, not many meals bring me out in a sweat and make my hair wet.
