Fucking dismal home attendance today. East stand probably only a third full Football is a rip off. I'd imagine most home attendances are low today.

£15 is hardly a rip off. ;D That's not the point. People spend hundreds on season tickets ad some prefer away games which costs a lot. So a home game against Leicester in the early round of the cup isn't for everybody. Me personally, I'd rather not spend the 15 today and see how far we get. If we get to the final then Chances are ill fork out for a ticket, I would have saved a lot not going to the games in the earlier rounds.

Oh don't get me wrong, football in general is expensive. But what are the club supposed to do? Give the tickets out for free?
What's the difference between watching us against Leicester for £15 or against someone else in the 1/4 finals? It's a game of football, if we win and play well then it's certainly enjoyable. To me anyway.

They'd all wait to get a free one. Catering already get to watch the second half anyway. I have a friend who used to work there, they work until 5 minutes after half time and then they can watch the game.

I'm here, don't expect any update tho because mobile signal is as shit as ever. We're looking comfortable at the mo, Leicster not really had much of a look in. Their no. 24 should be booked for diving.
I think the cards have had an impact. There are cash turnstiles open today and it's still poor. Kids are only a fiver as well ,don't know if that's been publicised much....

About 5 thousand of that will be Leicester fans. I can't begrudge anyone sitting this one out, I'm sat in a warm living room not watching any sports. Most people are wiped out after Christmas and could do without the extra expense.
I really think these new membership cards are having a big effect on home matches, I'm guessing people, particularly the older fans can't be arsed registering and would prefer just paying down the office on the day. I don't think the big pockets of empty seats are all the people that said they weren't renewing after last season.
