Why is Guidetti coming on now? He hasn't got a chance to even get into the game.

True, but why change anything in injury time. That's the kind of thing you do when you're winning 1-0 with ten men to waste a bit of time, and break the game up. Odd.

Come on though, really? We're fucking aching for a goal, so Hughes brings on Walters? And not the guy that is absolutely fucking chomping to get goals and game time? I won't say this again but fuck off Hughes. I can see why, PO pace up front, Walt to give us cover getting back and some sort of offensive threat on the right?! No, you're right. Clearly a masterstroke by Hughes.

Yeah, I still think a player who's been on loan with us for 2 games, spouting off he should start, was going to see very little game time tonight. I wish he had started by the way against Chelsea and tonight but you can't go saying what he did to the press, making threats basically about playing.

How the shit have we not scored in that?
We've absolutely battered them for an hour of that match even with 10 men.

It nearly was once we went down to 10, we played really well. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have come on at all if we had 11 on the pitch, but with 10 we needed someone to track back as well as (attempt) to get forward.

Jammy, jammy bastards. We were flat for the first 20 minutes, letting them score without posing a threat but we dominated the rest of the match and if it wasn't for the referee's need to give Altidore everything he wanted, we'd have won that comfortably.
The only positive to take from that is that we're far better than Sunderland. If they finish above us in the table then I'll eat Altidore's hat.
