come on then, I'll own up all the best drivers pass 2nd time Driving test passed 2nd, first failed for taking too long to turn right from an awkward junction with restricted visablity but the best is by Bike test I started as a courier on "L" plates, just a CBT needed, a days course, which I breezed through as I'd been riding a moped legally on my car license. did 22,000 miles in a year on a 125cc as a courier, took "Direct Access" to bypass the 33Bhp probationary period. I failed 1st time the reason "Failing to make sufficient progress" I got failed for going too slow.... as a courier that is shamefull ;D I missed a national speed limit sign and was doing 40 in a 60 section, in my defence it was green with algae and moss next to a tree

Oh and as to answer the question. Passed my driving test 2nd time like all the best drivers do. I don't have a motorcycle but then again if I wanted a bike I'd just use a push one.

Fourth time but I think I was hard done by on a number of counts. For the first three, I took the test in my dad's Mondeo having ahd him teach me. I know in theory it shouldn't make a difference but I'm sure it does. On the first test, my examiner was being examined himself by a moderator in the back, I'm sure that didn't do me any favours, on what I thought was a pretty good drive. I got no minors but one major which was really really harsh. The second time was my own daft fault as I hit the kerb on a paralell park, and no minors. The third one was a minor and a major but the tester was a fucking woman, what the fuck does she know about driving?
Fourth time I swapped from Cobridge to Newcastle and took the test in a driving instructor's car after having just three lessons, and passed with no minors.
In nearly six years of driving I've never had an accident, speeding fine, points on licence or even a parking ticket. I think that's pretty good going, since most people I know who passed first or second time are woeful drivers who seem to do something stupid every other month!

I passed 3rd time. On my first test failure i made a major fuck up by missing the left turn i should have taken and ended up in a dead end and having to reverse into what is now Bargain Madness car park in Burslem.

Passed second time here as well - took my first test too early I think. The second test was a breeze.
During the lessons before the second test my instructor pulled up for one lesson, told me to get in the passenger seat, smiled and said that I was too confident and was starting to cross my hands over and she would show me what I was doing wrong. Within 200 yards she drove the car on to the pavement - the look on her face when I smiled and said "I can see what I'm doing wrong now" ;D

Third time for me. First test an ambulance came up behind me all sirens going and I wasn't quick enough getting on the pavement..it was a very narrow road and that's what he told me to do! Second test same thing but a fire engine, ..I kid you not.. ;D

Second test same thing but a fire engine, ..I kid you not.. ;D Didn't even know you could fail for that , pretty sure you're not supposed to suddenly swerve onto a pavement for them, it should be done only if neccesary and at a slow speed to avoid damaging the tyres and wheels

That's actually fucking incredible, they dish minors out for anything pretty much. I got 7 on my test on what I considered to be a pretty faultless drive on the whole.

I passed 5th time, I too have been driving for 6 years without any bumps, tickets, speeding fines etc... *touches wood*
On one test my driving instructor had a new car the day of my test, so I had the hour lesson before the test and the test itself to get used to it... the gears were in different places, reverse was to the left of 1st instead of beneath 5th and I was scared to death of trying to put it in first and getting reverse. Coming off the a500 I accidentally put it into 1st (which was where 3rd used to be) and the car behind was an inch away from shunting into us. I'm still bitter about paying £100 for a test in a car I wasn't ready for.

3rd time here too. First time I admit I was absolutely wanker, nerves got to me, funny thing was i didnt di anything fundamentally wrong, but he needed to fail me anyway for being so shit. Second I drove well no minors but 2 fails first for breaking too hard, I had never done it before, second for apparently over taking a tractor and pulling in too quick.
Finally passed with 1 minor when the examiner was being examined, it was about a bicycle and I think she just had to give me something. She even told me it was a perfect drive.

0 minors 3 times? That's almost impossible? The test which I passed I got 2 minors and they were for not checking my mirrors often enough even though I checked them every 6 seconds or so. He said it was a pretty faultless drive. My instructor then said they don't like to pass people with 0 minors because it looks like they've not been examining you properly because no one really drives 100% perfectly. I've never crashed, been pulled over, had a parking ticket or fine once. Though I've only been driving for 16 months ;D

It's not impossible when your dad is teaching you. You fail to check your mirror and he can beat you around the head and make your life an utter misery for three days. Trust me, if my father taught you, you'd be excreting at the thought of even attempting to get a minor.
