West Brom closer to a new striker, maybe Berahinho free to leave soon and Ashley Williams to Everton!!! Seems an odd one, not sure about this Everton wealth , they seem to be shopping quite cheap with potential big names leaving. 50 odd million for Stones, Barnsley get a tidy cut, 10.5 million apparently for Williams . Swansea not too active yet, seems more outs than in but take over just completed. Quite a few teams seem to have weakened to date but a long time left in the window.

West ham linked with Ayew. Swansea could be in trouble although Sigurdsson looks to be staying.
That fee is far too big for Ashley Williams.

Sakho to West Brom, Ayew to West Ham and Berahinho to us perhaps. As for Swansea, maybe Allan Smart is available.

Come on Stoke, get Berahino in.
He'll end up at Crystal Palace for £28m.

Come on Stoke, get Berahino in. He'll end up at Crystal Palace for £28m. I think we're a better option than Palace by a long shot. Think we under estimate ourselves sometimes. The fact that Palace are totally gay as well might work in our favour. One thing you can guarantee at our place next season though is that we'll score early, miss 27 chances then they'll beat us 2-1with their only 2 shots on goal, the first a pen.

I think Palace will be willing to pay a higher fee, signing on fee and wages.
And I would't rule out other teams coming in for him now that he is known to be available.
The thing in our favour is our location if rumours of him wanting to remain in the Midlands are true. I really hope we get this deal done and get it done quickly.

I don't know we seem to really want him, even Coates has recently spoken out. I never thought we'd spend as much as we did on Imbula . Palace seem to want Benteke as well, be surprised if we let this go but at the end of the day the player has the last say. Croydon or Etruria a tough choice.

Fantastic result by Dundalk beating a very good Bate 3-0, through to the CL play offs, 3-1 overall.

They had to play it at Shamrock Rovers ground, should be able to update their own stadium now as they have a £5.9m pot so far, they could face Celtic, if Celtic make it tonight but already guaranteed a place in the Europa League Groups.

Been to Oriel Park, if you think the Britannia 365 place is cold, Dundalk win hands down. Stephen Kenny done an unbelievable job there, surprised no interest from a league side for him. Don't think they can face Celtic as in the Champions side of the draw but will be in the Europa League no matter what as you said. They can't face Man City or Villareal I know for sure.

Steaua Bucharest display ‘sabotaged’ by Dinamo Bucharest fans
Steaua Bucharest officials were left red-faced after a prank organised by supporters of their arch rivals Dinamo Bucharest appeared to sabotage their pre-match display before the Champions League qualifier against Manchester City.
With anticipation high ahead of the visit of Pep Guardiola’s side, Steaua owner Gigi Becali had commissioned a “tifo” at the Arena National in Bucharest to mark 30 years since their victory in the 1986 European Cup final. However, when the huge mosaic was unveiled just before kick off, it was revealed to say “Doar Dinamo Bucuresti” (Only Dinamo Bucharest).

According to reports in Romania, the display had been organised by a group of Dinamo fans who posed as professionals offering to help prepare the display before the match.
The evening went from bad to worse for Steaua, who suffered the heaviest home defeat in their history after a hat-trick from Sergio Agüero set up a 5-0 win.

Paki Mahrez has signed a new deal at Lester.
NEA as I don't think he's as good as he was last season. And it's another in the long list of Arsenal targets that they have failed to get ;D

England plated last night, that doesn't warrant its own thread!
Especially when you consider we won in the 95th minute against a shit side reduced to 10 men for alomost half the game.
We're wank.... And we know we are*

Walters conceded the pen in 2-2draw for Ireland but replay shows a clear dive. Had a goal ruled out late on but half a yard off so correct call but tight. Eamon Dunphy really does hate Glenn Whelan on RTE Sport :-)
