No issue at all from me. It's a farce that it's made into something every year. The amount of piss boiling anger and bile shitting hate that is caused every year by something that simply isn't important is pure lunacy. Ever since a few dickheads decided to burn some poppies as a protest over a pointless war in Iraq. Some people have lost all perspective when it comes to Poppies. Wearing a poppy should always be a choice. Attempting to force someone to wear a poppy is more disrespectful to our war dead than choosing not to wear a poppy for what ever reason. The lunatics need to calm the fuck down because life is too short to be permanently outraged. |

So, the Rooney thing. THoughts? I actually thought it was a really nice idea, and something that should happen more often, ok, he was of the "Fat Frank" generation of under-achievers but he was still probably the most influential player of his generation, and it was a nice thing to do to recognize that. I didnt think Southgate was a great choice for Manager but I am warming to him.
