Is apparently on trial with us according to Cundy and Martin on TalkShite. Said it was unconfirmed but seemed to be implying that it's real and not a load of bollocks. Fit Hargreaves+Joey Barton+Pennant+Ethers, what a fucking midfield.  I'd rather have had him than Woodgate, as I don't think we can afford to have two crocks in the squad. Discuss. |

Hope this is true, you'll be banned if it isn't.
I don't mind having both Woody and Hargreaves, as long as both are on pay as you play.
Both brilliant players with lots of experience.
Boother, stop your creamfest of Barton, another person we'll always be linked with but never actually interested in.

Hargreaves is an excellent player and I don't mind if he's on the same deal as Woodgate because we'll have nothing to lose.

It would be ace if we got him. Another player of that high a calibre in the squad would be really good, the obvious fitness issues aside. Pay per play, we can't lose.

Don't think I could accept Barton, but this Hargreaves one if true I think would be pretty damn good.

Barton, bar one punch at Pedersen last season has been out of trouble for a good few years. So he's been a prat off field. So have some of our players in the past. He's a natural born winner and would thrive under someone like Pulis. He loves winding up the opposition, he loves being the one everyone hates and he's a bloody good footballer who can relate to a lot of Stoke fans. |

Hope this is true, he's a class above and if we could get him fit then fantastic. Why not have both him and Woodgate? Who would fans prefer, Tongue and Soares in the 25 man squad or Woodgate and Hargreaves?
