ticketing issues

My niece's boyfriend spent all night working at the Brit on Tuesday as they had IT delays or something, did a 24 hour shift into Wednesday apparently, she told me she had to take him pizzas at midnight, must have had a few 'teething problems'.

All the ticketing computers went down Tue or Weds so that caused a few problems. The satelite office was still selling tickets that the other office had previously sold which added to the problem. The lack of beer inside caused a late rush at the gate and there were no end of people who dont usually go to games taking advantage of cheap tickets and Euro football who failed to read their tickets and get in the right queue

My mate who I gave a lift to missed the first 20 mins, as he had to queue to pick up his ticket at the TO by delilahs, we got the ground 10mins before KO like we always do, and I almost missed the goal, I had literally just shaken hands with all the regulars near me, turned round, and ethers swung it over

I missed the goal due to queueing up to collect my ticket, it's my own fault for collecting my ticket on the night, had plenty of opportunities to get it done earlier but was too lazy.

The queue for ticket collections was massive, some people must have missed the first twenty-five minutes or more.

The turnstylees have worked fine for us, last night was just a complete cock up for different reasons.

Nowt wrong with the turnstiles. The system works fine for prem games, everyone has the right ticket and everyone knows which stand theyre in. Last night there were three people trying to gain access to the Q railing stand with Seddon Stand tickets. `its ok` said one of them `we`ll come in here and walk to our seats`
I know there were ticketing problems but people like these cause all the hold ups.
