Looks like Geordie bonehead Alan Shearer is in talks with Cardiff to become their next boss. A big name in UK football but is he really a good choice for manager? No experience other than eight games in charge at Newcastle where he looked out of his depth. news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13770272.stmLooks like our friends from south Wales might destined to remain where they are in the Championship and their fans will still be left waiting for that lap of honour.

Excellent appointment for everybody that hates Cardiff ;D
What a strange decision though. They're desperate to get out of that division and you'd expect them to go for someone with real pedigree. Just look at Forest yesterday appointing Shteve McClaren. Chris Hughton is still out of a job too

He's ruled himself out of the job now, as talks have broke down.

Bollocks
They'd be daft not to go for Hughton now

I want him to do both.
Be an absolute shit manager, and then have to review his own games and tactics after a 5-0 drubbing to Doncaster. ;D

I think Hughton is more likely to end up at West Ham.
Although their fans probably think the because a few West Ham players won the World Cup with England they now have a God given right to all the best managers in the world.

The same West Ham that appointed Big Sam a few days ago, and that have just signed Faye?

Next you'll be telling me that Ronaldo has been linked with Man City!
