I don't think I can contain my excitement for this one.
It's like Skyrim and Far Cry 3 had a beautiful baby.
You can get elephants to kill bad guys!!!!

It looks absolutely stunning yes, but I can't help but feel the environment in FC3 was better. Everywhere was accessible but the mountain regions and cave sections were a pain in the arse to navigate, and cumbersome. Given that this is set around the Himalayas, I just hope you don't spend a great deal of time trying to traverse mountains.
Loved FC3 so I'll gladly pick this up. Shame it's on the last gen consoles.

Got it yesterday, it looks absolutely beautiful, like seriously fucking gorgeous.
The only criticism it seems to be getting is that it's a bit too similar to Far Cry 3, but that's completely fine by me.

You're on PC aren't you? Not getting it till Christmas but looking forward to it. As you say, it's more of the same. But Far Cry 3 was sooooooo so good, must have sunk over 30-40 hours into it. I'm still waiting for someone half decent at it to come round so I can finish the co-op missions and Platinum the fucking thing.

Nah got a PS4 now. I do have an awesome laptop mind. I can easily get up to 4 frames a second on Skyrim.
I'm enjoying Far Cry 4 but it's not blown my mind the way 3 did. I miss Vass, he's in my top 5 crazy bastards.

Not sure that's too impressive, I can get get 4 frames a second on Skyrim for the PS3 too.... (lulz)
I know what you mean. My Father in Law brought it round the other week and I went through the opening chapter. It's beautiful on the PS4, really is. Made me think 'wow' I'm going to climb the shit out of that mountain from that Pagan Min's house. I do prefer the setting in 3 though. If we were in 1998, it'd be an expansion pack. It's the same game, it's the same gameplay mechanics. This probably came a year too early for me. But... I absolutely loved FC3 so I've got no qualms about playing through this.
