Anyone else getting a little concerned ? With all our targets being linked elsewhere I find it a little worrying that we are about to enter the new season with only two recognised strikers fit and able to play. Shotton, for all his endeavors, clearly isnt the solution and if KJ or Walters get a knock in Split we really are in a worrying situation. Our opening fixtures at the Brit are likely to yield few chances but when they do come along we need to convert them. Preferably those chances would fall to a proven goalscorer but its possible they could fall to another square peg whos likely to be too hesitant and the chance go begging. Im sure TP has irons in the fire and wont panic buy just for the sake of it but the sooner someone arrives the better. I want us picking up points right from the off, not playing catchup from the end of August. If everyone stays fit then Im happy with the front two and I think we could surprise Chelsea, United are always slow starters and Liverpool are a bit unpredictable too, but if either of them gets injured... Come on Stoke, get something sorted. We all know you like to torment us through every transfer window and leave us dangling until the last minute but not this year hey ? Just for once do it early  |

I think we are going to end up with some quality signings, i don't really expect them to be in place for the chelsea game but they will come before the end of the window. It's got to happen, otherwise we will be in the shit.

The way Pulis was talking after the Split home game he really wanted someone in before the return leg of the tie due to the fact he had to play Shotton up front (didn't I read somewhere that Ryan started his career as a striker?) |

I just think that the premiership is going to tougher next season, no basis or fact to back it up, just a feeling ;D I think we will win in split and we will get to the group stage but we need numbers in the squad to get through a real grueller of a season. Not just any old cunters, some quality. |
