They're discussing transfer dealings and scouting apparently. Should be interesting, especially with it being a phone-in show as well, apparently

;D Did you hear that when TP says he likes to go on the terraces, making sure no-one sees him by putting his hat on ;D Never recognise TP with a hat would you

Pretty much said what we already know, prefers players with Premiership experience, doesn't like taking gambles, it's a risk buying someone from abroad, it's harder than ever to buy players that'll improve us

Just adding to that, he has to watch the player who've been recommended to him
Fat Sam's just said that a manager should have enough faith in his scouts as he doesn't have enough time to go and watch him. He relies on technology like databases, stats, ProZone etc as well

He speaks so much sense. All those slating him on the Oatie about what he said about foreign players are idiots. Pulis said the world class players who come and make an impact straight away are out of our league. Yet on the Oatie, they're all saying that loads of players make it straight away (then list all the type of players Pulis was on about). Their 2nd flawed argument is the fact teams like Wigan have found some gems. Yes, they have, but how many of them would switch positions with Wigan? If we kept surviving on the last game every season they'd all be fucking whinging. The more I hear Pulis talk the more I realise how much he really does know and how lucky we are to have him.

It was a great interview, i enjoy listening to TP. He's learnt a hell of a lot since we bust back into the top flight. Cupid is right, we are lucky to have him. He can be infuriating at times but it's not all sweetness in this pressure cooker that is the premier league. He's got the coolest head in football

Yes but they're the minority of idiots (taking into account that they're the same group of around about 100ish people and Stoke attract attendances of 27k..) who have no idea about anything I completely agree with the comment about Pulis though, christ above, the bloke is a cracking manager and without him and his special relationship with the Coates family (and their millions of course) we wouldn't have had the journey we've had over the past five years I wouldn't change any of it for anything

Like Roots, I love listening to the bloke. He just talks sense in spades and it's so evident how much of himself he puts into this club, it's warmly reassuring. Even the little touches like him getting the sign up about the England players going to the WC and the solders coming back in coffins.
I love that he makes the knuckle draggers look like fucking idiots time and time again.
