Apart from the stuff from the 70s of a similar name that looked like puke, best thing on toast?
A good pate takes some beating ( garlic free of course) but cheese melted with chilli powder a fave.
Thoughts....

Crunchy peanut butter. You can't beat that initial slightly panicky feeling that comes with having your mouth glued together by peanut butter. Yum.

I eat so much peanut butter on toast, and I have beans on toast for my lunch every day. I think I might have a toast addiction

I like the barest scraping of marmalade so as to just introduce the tang to the toast. I can make a single jar of marmalade last decades.

Thoughts.... Actually, I was rather partial to the eponymous puke in a tin, do they still make it? Excellent "survival" food when something like a natural disaster or 7 pints of stella make the assembly of actual food too difficult or hazardous.

Aww fuck, the internet has revealed to me that Heinz have stopped making them at the end of 2014, and scouring Poundland is the only way of sourcing these store cupboard staples, then the discussion ranged off tangentially into Vesta curries.......

Marmite, and anyone claiming to dislike it is a complete and utter prick.
Sorry, but Yes, that's just how strongly I feel on the subject.

The worst has to be that Welsh rarebit filth. Looks like cat vomit. Smells like cat vomit. Must taste like cat vomit. Best has to be: Fried egg with beans on top. Tomatos with cheese on top. Personally I love sardines in olive oil. But the very best toast topper of all for me would have to be ...... Nicole Kidmans shit

Just cheese. Fucking heaven.
Cheese with Worcestershire sauce.
Cheesy beans and sausages.
Slightly burned brown bread with Marmalade or Strawberry jam.
Peanut butter and Nutella.
I'll fancy Marmite like once every 5 years or so. I don't love it or hate it, it's just 'alright'. Veggiemite in Australia was nicer.
Anything else is heresy.
