I hope he does sign Thursday. Does anyone know whether the signing of Palacios and Crouch has to be a joint one, or whether we can just take one of them? I'm sure no one here can actually answer that question, but thought I'd throw it out there anyway  |

We need another striker desperately and we're crying out for a midfielder of WPs quality I'd rather Bendtner signed though. Younger, decent scoring record (for someone apparently shit) and could potentially be much better than Crouch Wright-Phillips is apparently on the radar as well |

That was the season as it was my first, not sure if Little had gone by then. I think I was pretty unaware of the whole managerial team and what was going on behind the scenes. I just liked Peter Thorne, who I'm pretty sure scored the goal in that game. It wasn't until the next season when I really started learning about who owned the club etc.  Unfortuantely, Little stayed for the season, think we had 3 home defeats on the trot by 4 goals Stephen Woods at centre half for the Bristol game I think  Bristol rovers 1-4 at the brit. One of the best away performances i have ever seen. Ripped us apart. Jesus, we were shit at home that season! |

Like you say, we do need cover up front. We certainly won't be able to count on Ricci and Mama to stay fit this season; so that'd leave Walters and Jones. Walters we can count on more than Jones (too inconsistent for me) I think, but even two in-form strikers isn't enough. Espcially considering our massive cup runs these days I'm undecided re Bendtner tbh. I'm sure TP can bring the best out of him though, if he did come. I'd start with getting rid of his pink boots  |

According to DV, two players (Crouch and Palacios I'm guessing) have been offered two really good contracts
