It's not about preferring Barton with or without that side of his game, we are a very 'us against them' style club regarding the media and the notion of 'proper football' and Barton quotes 1984 and puts up Che Guevara pictures on his twitter, he constantly thinks the world is against him. I don't see how you can't say he'd fit into a club with that mentality, it's obvious.
