Jay Stansfield has moved from Fulham to Moneybags Birmingham for a league One record transfer fee of £12million. it's mad that they have different rules in different divisions of the same competition. Birmingham have spent millions on new players. wonder if they will end up with a point deduction in a couple of years if they get promoted back to the Championship where the profit and sustainability rules are tougher than league1.

Tommy Cannon?? Presumably Bobby Ball wasn’t available?? I'm pretty sure that Bobby Ball would fail his medical.

And a Hardy to play alongside Lawal in midfield

What's the point of undisclosed fees ? I forget the club and the date , but a few years ago, stoke city ( of all clubs) bought a player for so many million and when questioned ( journalist?) confirmed the fee . The selling club then claimed Stoke city's big mouth had caused the fee to go up for players they were trying to buy ...and they were taking Stoke to court for damages . The court ruled in favour of Stoke and the case was thrown out. After the case , stoke city and other clubs, thought this is too much bother ...just say you bought/ sold the player for an undisclosed fee .

January transfer window now ! Internet talk ... Josh koroma 25 , Huddersfield town winger / attacker 9 appearances 4 goals 1 assist this season Al al hamadi , 22 , struggling to get a prem game with Ipswich town this season, but 4 goals from 1 start and a dozen substitute appearances at championship Ipswich last season. James bree ,26 , struggling to get a prem game at Southampton this season, but a right back who went from Barnsley to Aston villa for a significant fee as a youngster and is considered a pukka championship right back . Seems to get promoted with Aston villa/ Luton town/ Southampton, then become unwanted in the prem
Think we are ok for good old uns ( proper championship players) with class and a dodgy injury record ( Stevens ? Gallagher?) And young uns with potential but not there yet ( tezgel ? Junior?)
Wouldn't mind a couple of 25/ 26 year olds who are usually fit and good to go .
