Not enough quality today. Couldn't keep hold of possession and when we did work the ball forward our shooting was awful. We never win at Oxford so a defeat today maybe should have been expected.

Some alarm bells ringing already.
You can go down fighting, but you can't just surrender.
That looked more like a surrender than a fight to me.
Hopefully when Gallagher and Lawal are fit we will look a bit more physical and a bit more powerful.
But that doesn't excuse the Oxford display, surrender is unacceptable. Going down fighting and losing to the better team is one thing ,it happens and you have to take it on the chin.
But if players surrender then it's harsh words time and it's harsh words time now.
Schumacher needs his players to show a lot more fight than that v Fleetwood, Hull and in games yet to come.

In my seat ready for the flashy lights. Hull have brought a fair few fans. Not bad for a tv match.
Edit: under the red lights the corner looked full. They have brought a reasonable amount of fans but nowt to shout about. I think I need a trip to SpecSavers!

That second half was shocking. When Hull had the ball they passed it around like Barcelona. When we finally got the ball back we fucked up and gave it straight back so they could pass it around some more. Neither team created many chances but luckily for Hull we created a few chances for them with terrible passes.
Pelach needs to work a few minor miracles before the next game.

It is, but the last 3 games our goalie has been busy, made a lot of good saves and we have drawn with Fleetwood Town and lost to Oxford and hull . If Johansson got injured, then wow , we would be in trouble. I just get the feeling the back 4 are happy for him to do a lot of shouting, a lot of taking charge and a lot of making saves . Let him carry them . Mmm |
