Fucking brilliant so far, potential for wasting half my life on it. So far I've won all but one of friendlies, drew 1. Progressed through to Euro play off stage with a win and draw away from home, and beta the Arse 2-0 away in first Prem game  Sold Huth, Tonge, Soares and Collins for some coinage, got Diouf and some kid for wing back up, Wayne Bridge on loan for left back and some midfielder I can't remember the name of. Steady improvement. |

Still not arrived. Finished my half season with Ipswich.
Sitting 2nd in the champ, burnley are fucking thrashing it. Beat me 3-0 at Turf Moor.
Nathan Ellington keeps bitching about me not playing him (he's shit), and I just got Mackie back from injury and he's so wank he's become my back up winger.

Signed Tevez on a free, £100k basic wage and £25k goal and appearance bonus. He's 30 and on a 2 year deal, bit pricey but I've took £5mil out of my transfer budget to cover it.

I tried to go very conservatively only buying cheap players and its got me a consistent 7th spot in the first two seasons but not much beyond that. Lost to Chelsea in the FA Cup final at the end of the second season, in my third season the youngsters aren't quite ready yet (Marshall, Cuvelier, Rossi etc) and the other players are starting to age a bit so its a tough challenge to get Stoke to finish top 7 again this year.
I signed Lennon in January to replace Pennant who is now 30, Andy Carrol came in on loan and I'm thinking about signing him permanently as a replacement for Crouch and competition for Jones. Ryan Shawcross, Danny Wilson and Huth are fighting it out for the two CB positions with some trinidad and tobago youngster as the fourth option.
Tottenhams researcher really didn't seem to rate Palacios passing ability though.

So fucking boring.
FM12 however isn't, and I've really enjoyed it so far. Doesn't seem as much of a chore as FM11.
Own goals seem to have increased loads though, as well as really retarded stupid goals.
Someone I know uploaded a video of their keeper fucking up a kick, the ball hitting the post, their keeper missing the ball when he went to pick it up, then the striker scoring. I'll try and find it in a bit.

He's got potential, he spent a season with Sheffield United in the championship and scored 15 goals from 33 games, 12 of which were sub appearances. This season he's played about 7/8 games for me and scored 3 goals, mostly playing him in cups and such. |

Hit the obligatory sticky patch, still comfortably mid-table with 2 games in hand on everybody though. Lost to Wolves at home  Despite hammering them. The UEFA thing fucks up the fixtures, instead of playing prem Sunday, and Europe on Thursday, it seems to have completely screwed this up and makes me play less games. Not too bad though having the games in hand. I've downloaed all prem badges and kits to it aswell |

Just search fm 12 kits or badges and a wealth of sites will POP up.
You also have to create some folders to place them in.

Fair to say BJ's tactics are woeful, especially in defence. Ended up losing to some right obscure team in the Europa League 3rd Round Qualifier. 3-2 loss at their place, then was 2-0 down at The Brit, switched to my back up tactics and got it back to 2-2

Star ratings depend entirely on your staff, even with 20 judging ability/potential it may not be spot on. It basically means that staff member thinks he will piss all over the rest of your players in that position though lol.
Changing tactics usually means during pre-season you need to bank the match preparation up high, I tried changing tactics during an international break thinking it was enough time, West Brom proceeded to arse fuck me 3-1 at their ground, maybe the tactic was just shit but it didn't get used again after that lol.
I was in the top 4 this season until Begovic got injured, but since he's been out I've been relying on some cunt called Dimitrov who is quite possibly the worst keeper I've ever seen in the game. He has some decent stats and I was desperate so overlooked his teamwork and workrate, he can't even be arsed to reach the halfway line with goal kicks.
Turns out of course that I'm the first person to ever give him a game, in his FM history he has never played. Now I'm finding out why, hate the cunt already can't wait til Begovic is back.
