Have Jamil Adam and Omar Koroma been snapped up? They've been absolute goal machines for my Tamworth side. Won the Blue Square Prem last night with 4 games to go and I've got the FA Trophy final against Wrexham to look forward to!

Restarting this afternoon. Going to go ahead to the 2015/16 season so that I can actually be my proper, real life age in the game for the first time ever
Plan is to take over a club who're unknown in BSN/BSS, got promoted from the lower leagues and I'll attempt to continue their surge up the tables. Or take over an ailing team who've been relegated and need restructuring, no idea until I see what the holiday simulation throws out

Just beaten Brentford in the 3rd round of the FA cup with Southport, 2 leagues above ;D
Took a 0-0 draw there, then 2-1 at home. Now I have Port Vale 4th round, how unrealistic is this game? Port Vale in the 4th round.
I reckon I have a great chance, I'm at home, and one of the best BSP sides. Then hopefully a nice cushty 5th round prem draw.

2nd in BSP, gateshead running away with it. Could have closed the gap, had a game in hand when they were 5 points ahead, battered them at home but they still won 1-0 Just need to keep confidence up more than anything now for the play offs, my squad are right miserable bastards and can barely kick a ball if they lose a couple on the trot.

I was stagnating towards the end of the season, dropping points where I shouldn't, still finished 2nd.
Decided to have a tactical overhaul.
Play off semi against Forest Green, drew 0-0 away, won 3-0 at home.
Play of final against bitter rivals Fleetwood, won 3-0 ;D ;D
I want the job offers to roll in now.

2nd in league 1 after 3 games ;D
Made some astute signings, got rid of some dead wood, but I'm lacking a bit in depth, couple of bad injuries to key players and I could plummet.

Finally gotten around to starting a Stoke save.
Sold Collins, Soares, Davies
Still stuck with Tonge though, can't seem to sell him for peanuts.
Brought in: Rosi (£550k), Rochina (£1m), Yttegard-Jensen (£3m), Armenteros (£450k), Jali (£325k)
Rochina is a fucking goal machine, he can play across the AM Positions and upfront. Scored 6 in his last 6 games for me from the right wing. Jali is a good young ball winner who I rotate with Palacios. Armenteros is a 25 year old winger who's a bit better than Ethers. Yttegard and Wilson rotate for my DLP role and Wilson also rotates at lb. My only problem will be keeping my wingers and strikers happy, rotating jones, crouch, rochina, walters and jerome up top and ethers, armen, pennant, walters and rochina outwide could cause me some problems.
Playing two formations, attacking 442 with high wingers and a 451 counter for bigger games.
So far it's working well, won one drawn one in the euro cup and beaten chelsea, lost to cunterpool, drawn away at spurs and cunted Qpr (league and cup).
Just need an actual leftback now and I've got a damn good team.
Only problem I've had is Huth, can't get him to play consistently, he got man of the match against Spurs then got a 5 rating against Malmo and he's been doing it all season.

I seem to have problems motivating the more experienced players in my side, who also happen to be my best players.
Got a 33 year old Counago up front (ex Ipswich), leading star for League 2
36 year old Englebert as a deep lying playmaker (ex Club Brugge), good League 1
29 year old Sean Thornton as an advanced playmaker (ex Sunderland/Leyton Orient), leading League 1. He plays for Aberystwyth Town in real life ;D
I don't know if they think they're too good, or I'm too inexperienced or something. been a couple of times when I've done a good team talk, all have replied well, apart from them 3, and in some cases they even respond badly to a talk the rest are taking well.

No licensed kits or badges? I thought better of this game... You can download them, it's because the PL charge a ridiculous amounts for rights to these things. Most of the leagues have proper badges.

It's actually EA, they have the rights. They pay more for them because of FIFA. Companies that want to use them then have to negotiate with EA. Considering how easy to replace them it is by design it's not something they need to do because you can get much better badges and a wider varriety in next to no time.

Half Season Update:
Beat Arsenal 1-3 in the first leg of the league cup semi, into the FA Cup 4th round, 5th place with 2 games in hand over 3rd & 4th and 1 game in hand over 1st & 2nd. Winning both my games (unlikely) would put me 3rd.
So a good season so far, just signed Mbaye Niang for £3.9m and agreed the free transfer of Crescenzi in the summer.

Finally getting round to restarting and taking over AFC Telford. Bit of unfinished business after season after season of trying to get them out of League 2 on FM11 before giving up and going back to FM10

Lacina Traore - what a targetman. Got this bloke rotating with a guy called Aboubakar and they are deadly. On set pieces Traore is just a beast. Also re-signed Olic, he still had the stats and is a great impact player. Scored 10 goals in about 18/19 games.
Got Frank Lampard in, he isn't that good but has a lot of good mental traits and I recently signed 3 young midfielders. Between Palacios, Naingollan and Lampard they're all tutoring them and I hope it will bring them on nicely.
I'm happy with this save because I resisted the urge to go all tippy tappy with highly creative players. The core of my team is all high in determination, teamwork and professionalism and it seems to be doing a job. Turning up week in week out without all that many 'wow' players.

I really like that we started off with very little budget wise for the start of the season, it's forced me to use actual Stoke players, just supplemented with a few extras and christ it makes it a lot more fun.
Wilson is fucked fitness wise (and hates me), but I've had no other leftback for 4 months. Luckily Rosi is back now though. Huth seems to play best at RB, and Shotton is fucking garbage. Jones has gone completely off the boil, but then he is only making 30 minutes sub appearances for Super Jon. Currently working on clearing out the toss backroom staff (7 FUCKING YOUTH COACHES!) got the scouts pretty much sorted now, just need a few more coaches (and the board won't increase my coach allowance).
I've also got a few players on pre-contracts for the summer who'll develop to a decent level and I can hopefully sell on in a few seasons.

Traore is an absolute beast mate, get him paired up with Yaya Sanogo and you'll be set for years! I had a week away from mine (due to the small matter of a trip to Valencia) but got promoted with Tamworth last night after running away with the Blue Sq. Premier and won the FA Trophy, the club has now gone full time professional which has massively sped up the development of my youngsters and the stadium is getting expanded as well so happy days all round! Signed a few youngsters on free transfers that got released by the likes of Spurs, West Ham and Arsenal. A few of them have got the potential to play in the Premier League or good Championship level so if I develop them properly hopefully they'll either be with me for the journey up the leagues or return a few bob along the way!
