One thing I've noticed being manager of AFC Telford with the Sunday League reputation is that it's difficult to attract decent staff

I managed to find one semi-decent coach that was willing to join but my Chairman blocked the move I replaced my physio though and saw a huge effect in my players fitness and far less injuries. Thankfully I've been allowed to sign a few more staff members now that I've gone full-time.

Steve Whitehall is my physio, a very good one at that too
Managed a half decent backroom setup but I had to get two randomly generated staff members but as soon as I can get a proper, real life staff member I'll have to stick with them

Getting decent staff is hard wherever you are.
Apart from if you're one of the top clubs I suppose.

Good backroom staff make such a huge difference, but not in ways you can notice. I know I had a fantastic assistant manager one season, he made excellent suggestions and always motivated playes when I followed his suggestions for team talks.
Anyway, Man Utd poached him on a contract 3x higher than what I could offer, and despite approaching a bloke from Huddersfield who had really good stats, he just wasn't the same. His team talk suggestions pissed the team off, he made terrible suggestions mid match and didn't use players who I made available for the reserves very well.

My Ass Man is pretty decent, fires the players up regularly. Called David Scarsella I think, he's an Aussie

I've still got Kempie even if he is a bag of wank. A good lower league Ass Man is Frankie Bunn, done wonders for me at Rochdale and Bristol City. Doesn't have great stats but is good in friendlies and decent in team talks.

Won the league cup last night 2-1 against Chelsea, then got a stunning 1-0 win against AC at the San Siro, backs to the wall job for the 2nd leg I think. Because I won the lc I've qualified for the euro cup, so I'm going to prioritise winning it this year and secondly get a decent top half finish. If I'm lucky I have the squad to do both (sine I'm out of the fa cup).

Lacina Traore is attracting serious interest on my save, he's scoring for fun but sadly this season has been a little too successful in some regards.
Won the League cup but progressing in the FA cup and CL to the finals of each has been a drain on the side. Every round in the FA cup had a reply, the League Cup semi final and final had extra time, as did the FA cup semi final.
In the league I've had to rest players and its cost me a few games, with 2 games left I need to win them both and hope Man City lose their last game.

A couple of times on my stoke save I didn't study the fixtures well enough, so I ended up wasting some of my best players in non crucial games, a bit of a bastard.

In my second season with AFC Wimbledon. (Came top of league 2 with 111points first season) Currently 2nd in the league. It's out of Sheff Wed, me and Bournmouth to get the two automatic spot. Everyone else needs a stupid run to catch up with us. Managed to get Sam Baldock on loan from West Ham who has scored 32 goals and it's only March. ;D Unfortunately I haven't got him a decent strike partner. I've got Cresswell but he's been rubbish this season. Stoke fans hated him when he was good so there would be riots with the shitty performances he's been dishing out for me. Signed a regen called Steve Sailsbury on a free. He's only 16 (Youngest ever scorer for the mighty Dons) Plays CM. When I signed him he was rated as a good league 1 player with potential to become a leading championship player. As he's been playing all season. (Second highest scorer with 9 goals) His potential is now leading Premiership! He's still on a youth contact so I'm paying my best player £55 a week ;D Fucking Alex Ferguson is at all my games scouting him. The old scottish cunt can fuck off.

I hope SAF offers you £100,000 for the youngster and your board accepts it over your head.

Done the same myself, was right pissed off when I sent my first team to play against Bate when I had already won in the CL and the early rounds of the league cup.

Doing alright with AFC Telford
At the start of Februay, I'm top of the league by 7 points and still in the FA Trophy. Lost to Chesterfield 4-2 in the FA Cup 2nd Round so that brought in some well needed dosh
Form's stuttering a bit though, probably with me tinkering with the starting XI too much

Corners are pissing me off. Brothers centre back has 15 goals in 20 games so far. I expect them to sort out the corners on a FM by fm2080.
Also those free kicks near the corners piss me right off!

Saw that you've signed Tutte from Rochdale, he was my only solid performer in my side that got promoted other than Jack Sampson who I had on loan.
