Pretty much but I've got Malbon and a couple of younger players on Part Time contracts so they can't be poached
Whittaker was playing well at CB so it's annoying to have lost him but strangely enjoyable

Yeah it's great fun having to keep yourself on your toes as other teams steal your best players (and also is nice not having to be stuck with underperforming players.
£15m bid of Papadopoulos accepted and I've signed a winger/striker regen for 4 1/2 star potential for £2.6m.

There was a lad who I signed called Roger Sharrock and to say he was a let down is an understatement. It was great just being able to release him rather than faffing round offering him to clubs and trying to get peanuts for him

Papadopoulos signed for £10m + £5m over 36 months.
Hopefully get Yarmolenko for around £15m plus some extras and a third player from sales money.

Villa sent me a negotiated offer of £49.5m for Yarmolenko... The worrying thing is that if I was Man City or Man Utd I'd take it.
Also what's quite depressing is that I was offered the Man Utd job at the end of the season (Ranieri retired) and I turned down a £100m budget.

Bought: Papadopolous (£15m), Ronaldo (£2m), Stepanenko (£10m), Rondon (£15m) and few 16 year olds for various fee between Free and £2m.
Sales have been Konoplyanka for £12.5m so pretty much got my money back and Tatarusanu for £6m so a £4m profit after 12 months. Plus a few bit part players.
Rondon scored the opening goal against Man City in the community shield. Ronaldo is currently on loan at Barnsley, after 6 games he has an average rating of 7.42 despite them conceding 4 goals in two of them. Oh, and he's labelled the next Adriano. ;D

19 league games in and I'm top of the league by 6 points. Malbon isn't as prolific thanks to a regen striker I signed from America called John Chapman who's been banging them in
Also figured that if I ever feel compelled to leave 'Castle Town, it'll be for AFC Wimbledon and only them

Slow start to the league with a horrible run of fixtures but I'm hitting some good form now. First fixtures were Everton 3-3 (great team atm), Birmingham 2-0, Man Utd (Cavani and Hernandez) 2-1, Arsenal 2-0. Then the fixtures have gotten a bit of an easier run. Beaten Inter 2-1, Newcastle 3-1, Liverpool 2-1, S'Hampton 4-1.
Just been offered Branescu at 21 for £1.5m so I'm taking that.

For the start of the season Gylfi has been absolutely fucking pants, he'd scored 1 goal and no assists in the first 7 games. Then he's just hit form in a 6-1 demolition of S'hampton (had to reply thanks to my laptop failing to hibernate properly), scored a hat-trick, got two assists and was generally just fucking fantastic. Hilarious Aubert, who was playing really well before, didn't really do anything. ;D
