I signed Tomas Kalas but could never get him to perform for me, and I didn't have Wisdom long enough for me to see how good he'd get.

He's in and out of the team at the moment but after Addison being at massive fault for one of the goals in my current match (winning 5-2 at home to Newcastle) I'll swap them around
Wisdom plays in the League Cup games, surprisingly solid

The one player that I really can't get performing for me is Begovic, he seems to have at least one stupid mistake in him per game that costs me a goal. My 17 year old Danish keeper is far solider and is actually starting in the league ahead of Begovic.

I'm trying to fix Begovic, made a few small changes to him behind the scenes. I get to play FM13 soon so I can start seeing how he plays mostly research bollocks though, with problems like Cameron coming to the club apparently able to play every position in the game I need to find out what knock on effect it has.

He's performed well for 4/5 seasons, just at the end of last season and the start of this he's been a bit shit. He let in two ridiculous goals against Juventus in the Super Cup, fortunately Niang had already scored a hatrick. Meanwhile Frederikson (sp) has kept clean sheets against Man City (twice) and Liverpool.
EDIT: I also know someone who bought Begovic in his Spurs save and rotates him with Ter Stegen and he's been great in that for about 10 years.

Just sold Rochina.  Probably my saddest moment so far of the game, first player I bought in this save and he's been and awesome buy. Sold for £11.5m (bought for £1m in my first season). |

Begovic was like a brick wall for me in my old Stoke save, sold him when I had one of the best young keepers (he was around 23/24, Herida his name was) and a wonderkid. Wanted the wonderkid to be number 2
Begovic made around one or two howlers per season but he'd pull off saves you wouldn't expect

I'm still trying to work out my Lille team. I have a loads of similar players and no variation in them. All my midfielders are all out attacking midfielders and I can't pick up a decent BWM at a reasonable price. I have about 7 strikers who're all poachers as well but I've managed to get 4 of them out on loans with a view to buy deals.

First season in the Premiership with AFC Wimbledon complete and finished a fantastic 3rd place. Also took the Australia job for something a little bit different

Just been looking on the official SIgames forum for other stuff with FM and came across a bargain players thread. Anyway, lo and behold Rory Delap for £500k is considered a bargain on FM12. I'm pretty sure you'd have to go to great many lengths to convince most oatcakers he's a decent player to have.

I always go for the young kids who've been released from big clubs, and if they do well I sell them for big profit and normally bring in someone just as good on a free.
Joe McKee on loan from Burnley is an absolute genius for league one and two. He's a CM/CAM, but play him up front and he absolutely bangs them in for fun. His finishing is 15, composure is 17.
Bigirimana is a bargain from Coventry. Valued at £1.3m, but you can get him for £70k with a couple of add-ons.
Larnell Cole is brilliant if he gets released from Man Utd, so is Oliver Norwood.
Got Ryan McGivern, Josh Carson and Febian Brandy on frees too and they've been quality.

Tried the free youngsters with Rochdale in league 1 but didn't really have time for them to develop overly well (other than Tutte) before I moved to Bristol. Really to do a realistic save you need to build slowly and spend a few years in each league but I feel FM12 is too easy for that. I've never really found myself struggling in any of the leagues except the Championship with Rochdale when they cut my wage budget despite getting promoted. Even then though I was 18th with a 5pt gap to 19th.

Strangely, I always found the Championship to be the most difficult league as well. It's very rare I get promoted first season out of there which I think is bang on right. I shouldn't be getting promoted every single season
