My second favourite team are..... you will hate me for it..... poor old...... shabby...... West Ham! ;D I do hate you for it, horrible club with horrible owners in a horrible place with horrible fans. ;D So glad they got relegated. Regarding the owners I can't disagree with you... Its better than Man United i guess Lee! Why west ham though? They beat us 1-0 but was that 2008? In 2000 my cousin worked in London. When visiting him I tried to get tickets for any of the games at that weekend. It happened to be West Ham v Man Utd... West Ham overcame a two goal deficit in the last ten minutes or so and the atmospehere was amazing... That's how it started. Since then I try to watch one game a season (sometimes two). It must have been in April or May 2009 - goal scored by Diego Tristan

what sort of football do Thun play ? Sorry for my ignorance but what I have seen of swiss teams in the past (in european and international games) they tend to play quite a direct brand of football, like we do

Swiss bring through a lot of good African talent aswell; I have some questions.
How much does it cost from Bern to Thun? Is Switzerland/Thun expensive? How much is ale around your way?

What a fucking dog hole Thun looks. If you can ever pull yourselves away from this beautiful view of Stoke on Trent then you'll be a better man than me. God's country.

Last season we relied on a good defense and our football at times was boring. The new coach seems to prefer a more attacking style of play, but it's still early in the season to judge it. The lack of offensive firepower might cost us dearly against Stoke. All above we do not have one physical and tough offensive player as our players up front are rather tiny... Well, at least they might escape through the legs of your beasts in the back four... ;D

How many Swiss internationals are in your side? None! Striker Mauro Lustrinelli was capped a couple of times when younger... some of the younger players might have played for the Swiss junior NTs... The main force of Thun is the team itself, not the individuals.

The main force of Thun is the team itself, not the individuals. You're making me very optimistic here. ;D Stoke are also built more as a team than individuals, however we do have a fair few internationals. Walters, Whelan, Wilson, Sorensen, Jones and Collins (skillfull defender, reminds me of Beckenbauer). Also in players like Etherington and Shawcross we have players capable of getting into the England squad (Shawcross did the other year, but didn't play) but because Capello only picks players from big clubs they don't get a look in.
