Just seen that the prices are the same as the Hajduk game (£15 for adults & £5 for children). Good call Stoke, hopefully another sell-out

You're making me very optimistic here. ;D Stoke are also built more as a team than individuals, however we do have a fair few internationals. Walters, Whelan, Wilson, Sorensen, Jones and Collins (skillfull defender, reminds me of Beckenbauer). Also in players like Etherington and Shawcross we have players capable of getting into the England squad (Shawcross did the other year, but didn't play) but because Capello only picks players from big clubs they don't get a look in. I know your lot well enough... Let's talk straight: Stoke are clear favourites to get through this playoff round. Every other result would be a shock. Even after weakening your side with Matthew Upson...... ;D

I'm very pleased with the signing.

In adding Upson we're adding another England international, the guy that scored our first of TWO goals against Germany at the World Cup. I'm very pleased with the signing. No offence, but besides scoring that towering header (which he is good at) he was also part of a shambolic line of defence which let England down badly... and I say this as I was watching the game supporting England (my favourite NT as ours is rubbish, unless having young players a go...). Then his class also helped to relegate "my Hammers"....

Got my Thun home tickets today, season ticket place. I'll be in Ibiza for the away leg though, so we'd better get through

Last season we relied on a good defense and our football at times was boring. The new coach seems to prefer a more attacking style of play, but it's still early in the season to judge it. The lack of offensive firepower might cost us dearly against Stoke. All above we do not have one physical and tough offensive player as our players up front are rather tiny... Now that's an analysis I can get on board with Well, at least they might escape through the legs of your beasts in the back four... ;D How many Swiss internationals are in your side? None! Striker Mauro Lustrinelli was capped a couple of times when younger... ...Milaim Rama aswell (at least once)

Thun-ites, how many fans do you think you will bring for the game in Stoke? It's very likely there won't be many. A few hundred fans...

What is your average attendance at home? In the last few years we only had an average audience of 2'600 (in second division) and 4'900 (in first division) - since we play in the new stadium the average is 6'500 (thats why a stadium for 10'000 spectators is definitely big enough) For an english football club like Stoke City such a gate must be astonishing (in a negative sense). But these numbers could be easily explained...

do they have lemon curd in switzerland? Yes, you can find it in Coop-supermarkets and you should also find it at "a slice of home", a shop in Thun that sells English products... OMG, how could I forgot Milaim Rama's one game for the Swiss NT - shame on me!!!! I do not think that we will bring more than 100 supporters to the Britannia - we were 10 in Albania and at around 40 in Palermo... The number may be a bit higher if the situation after the first leg is still open... I'll be there anyway

You know how the Swiss were neutral during the war...
You were more on the English side than the Germans right?

I like these Swiss folks, they're more happier "we love you" sort of people rather than "our players will die in the battle" Ivan Drago types

But don't worry our coach is no Arsene Wenger... ;D
