It's not looking good for a price war. Last year got mine in Tesco for £42 as I assumed they would knock it down.
The RRP I think is about £50 this year, neraly no chance we will get it for £25 like in years go by.
I will be happy to get it for £35.

The days of picking up a big release for 25 quid are gone I'm afraid. If you can get it around 28-32 quid, jump on it.
The only promo's on will be spending £50 on shopping and get it for 15 or something, same with CoD.

Are there places you can actually pre-order NOW?
Do you get it a day before?
And some advice, don't order with GAME. They're always the most expensive and don't come a day before like you do with some.
I'm going to try out Amazon, never used them for FIFA before though.

Strange Donks, most people around t'net say game are the most reliable for pre orders.
I'd say the best place for pre orders are either shopto or thehut- both relatively cheap compared to most on the market and 9 times out of 10 you get the game early. Only thing is with Fifa and CoD no one knows until a few days before if there will be any supermarket doing decent deals, by which time they've sent it.

Same with hmv, dunno how they still exist charging 49.99 - 54.99 for a game They're reliable as in they get you the game, I'd never doubt them for that. But they always seem to charge the most.

On the above links Amazon appears to be the best option and also have a pre-order price guarentee
"Amazon.co.uk's price for not-yet-released items sometimes changes between the time the item is listed for sale and the time it is released and dispatched. Whenever you pre-order a book, CD, video, DVD, software, or video game, the price you pay will be the lowest price offered by Amazon.co.uk between the time you placed your order and up to and including the release date. A pre-order price guarantee message will appear on your Order Summary during the checkout process. If you use 1-Click ordering, pre-order price guarantee protection will be automatically applied. The order summary in Your Account will reflect the lowest price within 24 hours of the price change."

I ordered mine earlier from Amazon.
Getting here on the 30th, first class (what I've gone for) costs a total of £42 whereas the most expensive option is £47 and it arrives either the 28th or 29th.
