Just remembered Ridge Racer Type 4 on the PS1, fabulous game. I can't believe that nobody has copied off the concept of their Grand Prix since, it was basic but brilliant. You can't match the joy of being introduced to your team's new Grand Prix car with anything in the likes of Gran Turismo. You basically picked a team before the Grand Prix, had a few races in their standard car before they upgraded to a cooool car, had a few races in that before they upgraded again and after a while they unveiled their super duper beast. Every team had different cars and they all had mental designs, one of them was a 3-wheeler, It was brill. Stuff like these were the final cars and my little widge would explode with delight whenever I got this far into the game (about seven 3 minute races lol): Realistic.

Age of Empires 2 was brill. 3 was nowhere near as good. Any signs they'll make a 4th?

Mario Kart on the Wii, worth the price of the console just to get it.
