Forgot the bread for my beans on toast yesterday so I made the grave error of melting a Mars bar into some porridge instead.
Stodge.

Is cooked cheese unhealthier than "raw cheese"? Cooked cheese always feels a bit wrong whereas raw chees feels a bit healthy? PS I was severed bacon n cheese oatcakes today with a side salad

As its bonfire night I always have soup & hotdogs.
2012's version was a Potato & Leek soup & the nicest hot dogs I've ever had which consisted of Irish Sausages, Colemans Mustard, Red Sauce & Red Onions cooked in butter and caramelised in sugar.

Whenever I have cheese n crackers (on a more than infrequent basis)I always have pickled onions. I can never decide which should be the last mouthfull, either the cracker or the pickle. I've tried both methods many times and it always seems like the wrong option at the time. One always has to be superseded by the other

I ran my first 5k tonight (3 weeks training after never having run before <<smug face>>)* and cooked the best Mac and Cheese EVER afterwards to celebrate. I have also enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Grigio blush to wash it down - slighty tipsy thread. *there would be less gloating if you bastards hadn't upset Northy and Jammers ther very same goodam week that I joined a running club and therefore causing the death of the fitness thread )

Nothers and Jammers will be back. My bet is that they miss us all like crazy and long for our wit and humour once again They're just being stubborn but they love us really....just like we love them

£1 for 12 sausages. £0.19 for a granary baguette that get's reduced to £0.19 every day at about 7pm.
60p for half a baguette with 6 sausages, two nights in a row. Living the dream.

two points...
1. Ordered "dinner" from Marmaris in Chell heath last night, credit where credit's due, a splendid all round example of kebabery, possibly the best I've had, well worth a try.
2. I've just purchased twenty quids worth of cheese.
