Buffets are dangerous; I remember when they kind of first opened you felt like you were stealing off them and just scoffed scoffed scoffed scoffed. First time I went buffet island I ate so much I puked my guts up all over the front window.

ATV went off the air in the 80s. We always got NW_Gerald Sinstadt and Elton Welsby doing the footie

Always thought Gerald Sinstadt was a safe and steady presenter.

From Wiki
In 1994, Sinstadt was charged with gross indecency after being caught by North London police who witnessed him performing an alleged sex act in the Fantasy II cinema in Islington. The criminal charges were later dropped.[8] Sinstadt lives in Stoke-on-Trent and is still actively involved in football, as a Staffordshire member of the FA Council and as vice-chairman of the North Staffordshire Youth League
Gone up in my estimations

I made green soup on Tuesday, recipe from the latest runners world magazine. Things were a bit looser the day after. Todays homemade soup is carrot and parsnip.

I used to fry onion, add corned-dog, add mash, bit of Worcestershire then serve with bran sauce. Where do you're onins get added?

Just had a hash and it was fucking amazing....
Fried onion, smashed potatoes (not mashed), corned dog and a drop sauce of sauce consisting of garlic, oxo, Worcestershire, pepper, Tommy purée.
Fried off large patties to crisp off then slammed a poached egg on top for good measure.
It was very very nice indeed!

Two significant food events today, one will go in the first world problems thread, the other below...
Just made an emergency "pizza".
Toasted white bread, thin layer of tomato purée, sliced cheddar, pepperami, organo then grilled; pretty good to be fair!
