healthy day today...
Pudding was meringue with double cream, custard, kiwi, blobs & strawberry. very nice.
The main event was a plougmans a-la 1980.
Carrot, cumber, peppers, branston, inch thick buttered white, ham, porkpie, cheddar, celery with squeezy cheese on. Anything I should have added or omitted?

my eldest appeared at home for a week from his winter on the somerset levels before going off to the skerries for the summer, the wife bought enough food for him for about a month, last night we had vegan sausages  |

I took my mum to the Toby carvery at Talke yesterday, I think there was an ugly and fattest competition going on, the prizes were a mountain of food that you can't eat.

I'm going to the Whitchurch food and drink festival tomorrow apparently, no doubt to buy overpriced chutney's in little jars with a bit of paper around the lid held in place with a rubber band
and as I'm driving no drink will be involved
