Forgot about this thread, there was fighting in the bar at 6pm and then in the corridor during the night, I checked out after work (late in the evening) the next day and drove home.

Then the plague started.

I stayed in the Intercontinental Hotel on Park Lane in London couple of times the last couple of years, absolute bargain when people weren't travelling and no foreign tourists.
Couldn't afford it now though.

Staying in the Kimpton clock tower hotel in Manchester ATM, what a cracking building inside, an old insurance building from yhe 1920s/30s I think.
