Looks like Harry Soutter is off to the world cup with Australia. Should be a great experience for the lad and a chance to get match fit for when he returns to the Potteries. I just hope the Koala humpers don't break him this time.

I bet the keeper is delighted he went off. He's in the changing room scoffing dates and thanking Allah, although to be fair, the keeper couldnt have done much about any of the goals. Good start, we've struggled in these matches before with 10 men behind the ball.

Good opening performance. Southgate got the starting eleven right and the subs didn't weaken the team. Nice to have strength in depth. Defensively good for most of the game but some sloppiness and playing ourselves into trouble will shaft us later in the tournament if we are not careful. Thought the penalty decision was very harsh. Little shirt pull is a penalty but a rugby tackle isn't.
