Rage quitter ;D
I have too many centre mids, too many centre backs and too many strikers. There are 5, maybe 6 vying for the 2 CM spots, and 4 leading prem centre backs.
I never really followed through with my plan of cutting my squad down. What I keep doing is selling the players that haven't done so well for me, for a load more than I bought them, so i always end up with at least £30m to spend. Also well within my wage budget.

I'd just like to share my story about Cameron mitchell ;D
I'm in 2019, so he's been at the club for over 10 years, currently 26 on the game. He obviously had a youth contract with Stoke years ago, but I never extended it, I just left him and assumed he would go.
Nope he's been sitting on his lucrative £55p/w contract for about 6/7 years.
That's not the end of it.
I've just got that 'cameron mitchell would like a chat with you' thingy when a player isn't happy about his lack of football. ;D ;D
What the actualy fuck is he moaning at me for? He's not even on a contract with me.

Douglas Costa is immense. Problem I had was that I could only play him in CM (I had Bale and two world class youngsters for the AML spot) so he was never consistent

I have to play him centre mid as well but I put him as a deep lying playmaker on support mode and he's been absolutely brilliant. Some of his free kicks are sensational too. Been Prem player of the month twice and is leading the league in assists. Got to say I'm pretty chuffed with him.

I still play a 4-4-2, direct game. The only thing the 2 CM's do is protect the defenders. I then have a front 2 consisting of a deep lying forward and an advanced forward.
I wouldn't be surprised to hear in my save that online polls show the fans want me out, even though I've brought them champions league football in 2 out of my 3 seasons in charge ;D

Anyone else think that this years is the best one they've ever made?
Usually, after about 7-8 seasons, I get really bored but I'm starting my 11th season and still got the same level of interest as I did when I started the 1st

I keep ruining my saves by deviating from my Pulisian plan. Not because it's some mindset I can't deal with or anything. I'm just shit at building sides that pass and move with fast, flair players.
I always need strong, defensive players lol.

I have two of the best cm's on the game, an attacking play maker and a deep lying playmaker, a player who is immense at defending and attacking. Also used to play with a target man and poacher, now I have a complete forward and poacher. I find the poacher scores loads and the complete forward scores quite a lot but assists a lot. Always 4-4-2 though, whenever I experiment away from this it doesn't work, probably because I've built the squad around this. |

I always attempt to have a back four of giants and do all I can to have enormous midfielders, wingers and lone striker However, if they're quick, I'll sign 'em straight up |

Adam Johnson always does me nicely on the left of midfield, never been able to find a right midfielder I like though. Pennant is too patchy, Sotiris Ninis is just a soft greek bastard crying about his country being bankrupt or something, and everyone else I try just isn't anywhere near as good as Johnson lol.
