Still no training?!

The games requirements won't budge too much I imagine. As for training, it doesn't seem like anything is being done but I can tell you that from what is documented in the Researchers editor there is changes being made in the background.
Of course there is no point saying "Well we're improving the system and adding more to it but it won't be in FM12" they're laying the groundwork to implement it when its done and fully overhauled.
Youth systems have had a massive overhaul, last year there was a makeshift to bridge the gap on what had been a couple of years work at least on the new youth system that will come out in this years.

Both Palacios and Crouch came down a bit as well at Tottenham during the summer (much like Woodgate) because after their season the squad average had to come down slightly because they weren't playing as well as the squad were rated.
Palacios will however be our best player, coming in with a CA just a bit above Shawcross and Huth. This really strengthens our midfield on FM where previously our best midfielders were around the 120 - 130CA mark and Palacios is around the 150CA mark. Crouch will be our second best striker just a few points behind KJ, however, he'll be more consistent than KJ so I expect he will perform better.

Is he going to be on a par with Walters or better?

Jerome will be quite weak, not as good as Walters (I've given him a good bump up this summer) and is actually only just better than Sidibe in terms of raw CA. However, depending upon his stat distribution and consistency he may play well but I won't see the files again this summer now potentially.

Is there an official release date now?

Not as far as I'm aware, Walters will be much better having had a huge increase to his consistency since they made me chop down my overall improvement of him in terms of raw ability.
The side is largely consistent now fuck knows why Danny Collins has 19/20 consistency unless consistently shit also counts. Andrew Davies is on 17 as well (he will ahve been rated by where ever he was last on loan) Whitehead and Delap are currently the most consistent CM's at the club.
Being new to this some of these stats look awful in hindsight lol ;D
I did not give Danny Collins at 19 for consistency though lol

What about Smajl Suljevic, Cuvelier, Marshall, Rossi?

Rossi is out of my hands at the moment, asked for him to be transferred into our file. He wasn't there at the last time of asking, possibly doesn't exist in which case I'll be coming back to the academy thread to ask for some insight on him.
Cuvelier is the same as he was last season presently, Suljevic doesn't have much about him, Marshall will have been rated by someone else and that's it. Our new clutch of youngsters don't have much time to show anything before the data lock January patch is when they'll get properly rated.
I am considering using my free advance copy as a bribe to get help with the academy in the future lol.

;D
Marshall should get a decent rating then as he's done really well in League 1.
I suppose there'll be time for Sulejvic/Rossi as they're on big contracts here so they'll stick around.

Crouch is alright, Woodgate and Upson are good, Palacios is great and Jerome is shite.

Oh, and Kenwyne broke his leg and missed 7 month whilst Fuller went to Liverpool and scored 12 goals despite only starting four games ;D

Targetted release date is 21st of October, so it will be a bit earlier than it has been the last couple of years. Shopto.net is reliable, been buying games from there for the last few years never had a problem with them.
There is one downside to the signings Pulis has made this summer, the £22.5m I put in for the club this summer and our nice space in the wagebill was accurate and about right for what we had. Spending £22m on deadline day has pretty much eaten it all up though.
I'm discussing trying to get us £5m or so for transfers under the fact if we were in difficult times it seems likely Coates would put his hand in his pocket but it may get rejected.
I'm aiming to begin working on building up the youngsters profiles between now and January, unfortuantely they will be a bit of a barren lot as the first batch coming through but by January I hope to have much more comprehensive profiles on them with hopefully enough reasons to argue for some to be more talented than we've had for a good while.
