Come on then let's get it done with. This will be a proper grind it out, hoof and hope result but we'll end up with the 3 points that are well fucking needed.
0-1.

I'm absolutely bricking it for this one for some reason. It's just got that horrible feeling of us coming up against a team in desperate need for a win and we'll duly oblige as per fucking usual! I've got no idea what to expect in terms of our team or formation, and I honestly don't know what team I'd actually prefer to see out there. Do we stick with the new system that everybody seemed comfortable with up until last week's disastrous result and hope that it was a one off, or do we abandon it at the first sign of trouble and revert to the old 4-4-1-1 with Matty and Kights as out and out wingers? Will Walters and/or Crouch be dropped to bring Kenwyne into the team after he's shown a bit of recent promise? Will QPR's big names suddenly click and produce a performance to justify their over-inflated reputations? Or will they be just as crap as they have been up to now with no team spirit and none of the big time Charlies showing any willing to roll their sleeves up and scrap for survival?
I seriously feel more nervous about this game than I have done in absolutely ages. One point from six so far from our "easy" fixtures is terrible (and the performances have matched) and if we get another bad result in this one it could really be the catalyst for a Blackburn style implosion with sections of the crowd turning against the manager. Right now I would love a "classic" Stoke home game where it's cold, windy, the game is scrappy and played mainly through set-pieces, the defence looks solid and we nick it through a Crouch tap-in from 2 yards out from a corner where people are grappling and pulling all over the place!

Oranje - I feel the same.
I can just see everything going against us. The registered charity that is Stoke City Football Club will no doubt roll out the red carpet and allow QPR to get their first win of the season. I can see them hitting form and us having an absolute shitter which then leaves us looking over our shoulder, peering into the relegation zone.
3-0 Stoke.

It's a typical setup though isn't it? A team paddling up shit creek, come to Stoke and get their first win.
I'm that desperate for a win I wouldn't be arsed if Rory came on for throw ins, even though they haven't worked for two years.

We've got to be confident. We're on a bad run, they're on a bad run, but we're at home. I think they'll have no choice but to come and attack us, which might give us a chance of actually scoring some goal(s).
The defence staying strong and not doing anything stupid will be key, and I'm hoping that we'll look as good going forwards as we did early on in the season.

Plus the fact their record up here is fantastic in 17 home games they have beaten us 8 times! (albeit most are 1-0 & dubious).
Stoke 2-0

Lighten up. I'm working so no doubt Crouch will score a hat trick, then Wilko being in his natural left back position, will make a king bursting run into the QPR half, cut inside and slot it past the keeper, causing scenes of mayhem in the stands that have never been seen before and never will again.
This is genuinely my biggest fear in life, if Wilko scores on Saturday I don't think I'd ever, ever get over it.
