Sentinel pointing to maybe just 1 change, Ethers coming in, looks like for Kightly as opposed to SJW... "We have got to be careful not to be panicking," he said, "and to stay nice and solid. If we win, we win. If we don't, we move on.
"It's not a situation where you start chucking everything out of the window."
"In sport you have to accept you are going to get criticism," he said in response to suggestions that fans are against the continued selection of Walters after just one league goal in open play in nearly 12 months.
"If Jon is not scoring goals then he will get criticism, but he's tough enough and he understands the game, that there's lots of people out there who know the game better than you.
"I think the majority of supporters love Jon, but there will always be that group who know better."www.footballcourier.com/news/story/1674080/stoke-city-jon-walters-poised-to-play-on-as-tony-pulis-tells/full_story.html

Remember that run he went on against Portsmouth? Best thing ever. That would've been goal of the season if it'd gone in. Smashed Hermann Hreidarsson and then went on a mazy run. I hope he gets good again, Wilko, because he's been a bit shit for the last few months. And I hate the bastards who say "It's only because he's local". No, it's because he's actually a decent defender who has come on unbelievably since his early days. A real success story yet people always seem to harp on about him being wank and a weak link. Granted, he's not the most technically gifted but he rarely lets us down defensively. Wilko-love.

If Wilko scores, we're on the pitch.

For a mean bastard like Pulis; he has tiny bollocks. We are at home against a team with no confidence just get at them with 2 out & out wingers (who do track back) let Adam free, Whelan doing a mixture of attacking and defending & N'Zonzi cleaning it up. QPR are there for the taking yet we already starting negative

We're already starting negative...
Before he's even named the team.

Huge game, this.
We should win comfortably, but we've got it in us to have a stinker, and this could be the game a very good group of individuals click for QPR. Also, Cisse only needs one chance to put it in the back of the net, you always feel that we need 3 good chances before someone finally puts one away.

QPR are the only team in the Premier League this season to not have a single player who has played in every game so far.
What a joke! Very poor management imo!

If it IS 0-0 then the script is part written for a relegation scrap. To stay in the premier league you MUST score goals and we have a very poor record of late.
You can blame TP for dictating that the forward players track back and defend too much, that he has lately tended to play one striker up front, isolated and denied quality supply and support. You can blame the fans, particularly at home, where we have become blase and generally well below par.
You can blame the players who, apart from grafting, rarely show their supposed quality.
All in all I am dreading today, and with the players we have, I should not really be feeling like that.
For me, today is a must win game. The media are waiting to pounce on our club and unleash their anti Stoke venom. So far we have had our fair share of luck in avoiding being drawn into those discussed as relegation candidates, but should we lose today, then that will change, for that is what we will have become.

I think losing 4-2 to Man United was the worst possible thing for us to do because since then TP has gone completely back in his defensive shell. I know we defended shit that day but we were a half-decent defensive performance away from at least a point
He needs to realise that yes, it's important that our formation is based on a solid defence, that's key in any side but we do have to attack with purpose to score goals and take points
For such an old school manager, he's got tiny fucking bollocks and relies too much on fucking stats. Any one of us on here could cover 123876123 miles in a game but if we've done absolutely fuck all then we'd expect to be dropped
Urgh.. please just win today, even if it's a horrible 1-0
