*banj Fair points, I suppose it comes down to how people balance the importance of staying in the Premier League with enjoying the experience of being there.

Only just realised the pwnage carries on past page 2, daft cow ;D First time I've been on 'that other message board' for a good while. I forgot how funny it can be at times. Daft cow indeed! ;D

Daft cow indeed! ;D Literally the same for me. I made a personal rule to not visit there about a year ago but since I'd allowed myself to get emotionally posting tonight, and seeing the link, I couldn't resist..

Shell is the most ridiculous person to ever post on a Stoke message board, more so than Bring Back Muggleton ;D

Saw Steino in Hector Garcia's earlier!
I was proper excited! He played before I was born but obviously I've heard about him and the reception he got today! Brilliant.
Best part of the day for me!

2 names I'd like us have, but not obvious choices are Steve Bould & Gary Neville. Steve Bould - Stoke lad, Stoke fan, has vasts of experiences with young players & no matter how much we dislike Wenger he's learned under a very clever manager. Exactly what Coates is aiming for. Gary Neville - Need I say anything? Knows the game inside & out, respects both skill & attitude (as do we fans) & another good fit for the club. You MUST be fucking joking, right?

Ive read this thread and think, hmmm, "remember Charlton", then i reflected for a few mins and thought "hmm, remember Charlton"...... And? Do you think we will definitely get relegated when pulis leaves? I don't. Charlton made some woeful managerial appointments, les nobody and ian fookin dowie, i'm sure the family wont make that mistake again............

G-Cam is now the new boo boy.
I actually hate a good section of our supporters.

G-Cam is now the new boo boy. Really? What's the matter with people? We do seem to have a higher than average proportion of bell ends amongst our support

Really really
"geoff cameron is a shocking player and i'd be delighted if i never saw him in a stoke starting line up again.
at times i find it embarrasing watching him ranting at the ref in the usual over-animated way about nothing in particular.
he is unable to put a simple cross in to the box.
one of the worst players i've ever seen at the club and it is truly frightening that he is a member of a premier league squad"
"Leaning towards the fact he's not very good and won't be in any position."
"Cameron isn't very good if we're honest and I can see why Tone doesn't trust him at centre half."

One of our best players this season. Absolutely ridiculous comments, to call them horseshit would be flattery.

Shea looked a bit better yesterday. Looked like he could be quite a tricky fucker.

Agree, he didn't really get the chance to show what he can do, but when he did get the ball, he looked comfortable on it, beat his man a couple of times and picked a few good passes out.
With Ethers (the last couple of seasons,) Kightly and Walters on the wing, we really miss having a direct, pacy winger who's first thought is to run at the full back and take him on. Hopefully when he gets his fitness and sharpness back, (which probably won't be this season,) Shea can be that player.

I've seen worse but it was another week of dank faux football.
Think it's worth a mention at just how much time West Ham wasted from the go, fucking terrible.
