I know the DS4 is supposed to be super comfy to hold and use, but it still looks like a prototype to me, that touch pad looks well out of place.
Launched in 'Murica last night, few expected announcements for Uncharted and Last of us DLC. Paid in full earlier this week so looking forward to Chrimble.

I ordered the Killzone bundle from amazon last night, will likely trade it in after i've done the singleplayer.
Nba 2k14 takes the cake for me at launch, looks amazing and they've added loads to it compared to the current gen one.
Makes EA's sporting next gen efforts look lazy as fuck.

I wish I liked NBA as that does look awesome for a sports game. Kind of the season I'm not touching Fifa until they put all their efforts into making it a proper next gen title. I WANT PROPER CUNTING STADIUMS.

The American sports in general are presented brilliantly.
I'm the kind of person that realism matters to in sports games, it ruins the immersion playing in generic stadiums.

You can still pre order PS4 from shopto and get it for release apparently, i'm waiting till next year I think. Same here mate. I'm leaning toward the PS4 but I'll give it another six months and buy it on the strength of the games for it. The only way I'll buy either of them any sooner is if Everquest Next is released on one, and it's made by Sony so I reckon it will be on the PS4. I might not have an Xbox One, but I have one Xbox  |

I can't afford or need one right now, it'll probably be the end of February at the earliest when and if I buy a PS4.
I genuinely cannot think of one reason why I should get a Xbox One. It's nowhere near as powerful, it's more expensive, top games aren't being played in full 1080p HD according to reports, the exclusives don't seem interesting and I have no interest in Kinect.
And that's even before I've remembered all the backtracking with their policies involving DRM when they were royally battered by consumers and realised they'd lose a fuckton of £££'s if they stuck by their own plans.

Didn't some PS4 have some HDMI problems? I normally wait for a bit to get a console rather than on release. There's always a chance of you getting a fudged copy. Let them sort all the shit out then I'll get one. (A PS4 obviously.)
I hope that problem is happening to someone with the (beautiful) "I made this." controller. Seeing them look at it whilst it made that sound would be amusing.

Some of the chapies in America reported that their PS4's had some issues with overheating and the fans on some video's are ludicrous. A lot of the video's I've seen though sound very quiet, even after four hours of gaming.

I had been considering getting an xbox one, had it on pre-order right up until Tuesday and just looking through the games and seeing there was nothing worthwhile and having a more than decent PC I just couldn't go through with it. Better things to spend £500-£600 (with games) on than that.
The PS4 is in the exact same boat. Nothing that actually makes it a worthwhile purchase at the moment.
